Hmm that is a pretty good thread!! Thanks!

I wanted to know which one is louder and deeper? Magnaflow catback or Gibson catback? I really like the deep tones but don't want to get into a flowmaster they are just to loud.

I have heard on here that for loud go flowmaster, but if you want performance and a little louder than stock magnaflow. Its all personal opinion so this is a tuff one.

Well my choices are narrowed down to either Magnaflow Cat Back or Gibson Cat Back... The Magnaflow is $340 and Stainless and the Gibson is $290 and Aluminized.

I really would like the one that has deeper mellow tones vs. being raspy and ricey. Any opinions on those two would be great!!

I'd steer away from aluminized... due to potential for pitting/corrosion, but they probably don't put magnesium chloride all over the roads where you live in the winter :p

Lol nope here in the winter its sunny lol with some rain here an there... Hmm... that might make me go with the Magnaflow just because of any possibilities like that. Thanks for the info on the Aluminized.

well, i had a magnaflow on my old chevy 1/2 ton and absolutely loved it. it was pretty quiet until i got a higher flowing cat but then it was perfect imo. i just ordered a JBA cat back for my truck for the quality, sound price after searching around for some time. i ordered mine from URD and shipped 2nd day fed ex it came up to $298.48. I'd definately steer away from Aluminized if you can help it.... Gibson does have a stainless for a little more dough...

Since you have had both Magnaflow and now JBA what do you think is better? I havent even thought of JBA. Is that louder than the Magnaflow? Thats a pretty nice price for Stainless.

considering ur from socal, there is nothing wrong with going aluminized, we barely get rain here and the aluminized will last. just food for ur thought

Hmm I am still on the fence here... Gibson or Magnaflow... I wish I could hear a good clear soundclip of both and know the pro's and con's of each.. Like if one gives more perfromance vs. the other etc.
