Something isn't right. Need help now please!

Almost like it's stuck in gear. When truck is off, I can select gears without the clutch pressed, or pressed. Have to press the clutch to start, but then won't get into a gear. When I try and get 2nd I feel the truck try and lurch forward, 1st won't go in at all, reverse tries but grinds.

What isn't disengaging with the clutch? Followed directions to a T, too. Work tomorrow morning.

BTW, I just replaced the clutch, pressure plate, TOB, and pilot bearing.

Have you tried to adjust the pedal throw? I dont think you're fully engaging the clutch. I'm just spit balling here

Did you bleed the clutch? Or does your pedal have an adjustment? Maybe it's not engaging the clutch fully when the pedal is all the way down.

    Just throwing out ideas, idk

True, if it were adjusted to worn- ass clutch he may have to adjust it out.

Thought that too. Adjusted what could be, then crawled under and let the girlfriend push the clutch, full travel.

I did forget to bleed. I'll try in the AM.

Already told work to eat one, I'm not coming in unless I fix it well before noon.

Just bang em in there, you dont need a clutch. Or brakes. Seatbelts are good.

Not gonna lie, tried. Then saw myself going through the back wall of the garage. Reverse grinds like hell, can't even back out the garage.

Are you absolutely certain the clutch disc isn't in "backwards"? (Reversed) They will not disengage completely and will do exactly what you describe. Easy to do.... fixed a friends dorF stRanger a few years back following a new clutch. Did same EXACT thing you describe.

100% certain it's on the right way, per LCEs directions and labels on the clutch disc

Good that they tag the disc now days. Didnt always happen that way.

Also....new pilot bearing can sometime be a pain in the rectum....can drag and continue to "power" input shaft with clutch depressed/disengaged

Working on bleeding the clutch now. Starting to look like it's all gonna have to come apart again...

Gotta do the above to do that. But, I'll see if I can peek through the fork dust boot.

Guess I might as well start removing driveshafts, bolts, and connectors. Fuck
