Yes, and electrical tape at the back around the corner. Peeled it off while was still wet.

I did 3 coats. Bought whole raptor kit with gun and 4 bottles. Did inside of doors too and only ended up using 1 bottle.

Such a clever ideal. I’m looking for a spot in the engine bay to mount the house battery... I’m to Tacoma, did the Land Rover x3 (way too expensive), did the 4ruuner and was totaled at 245K miles hence a Taco now.

Before or after the body shop came back with the appraisal that “totaled” it?

Fat Bob's lift kit, 30's on stock steelies, lunchbox locker in the rear, and a ton of other general mods and additions to help the utility of the truck for my particular uses.

Finally got around to fixing the LED strips under the utility track. The crimps gave out, but now its all soldered. Then, added the LED strips on the roof. Velcro is your friend. Holy crap is it bright in there now. While I was at it I cleaned up the bed a little. The last thing I did was fix my dome light in the cab. Now that bugger puts off enough light that you can do dental surgery in there!

Finished up my suspension install today.

    Truck1.jpg

Bilstein 6112's, JBA UCA's, Wheelers SuperBump front and rear with HD OME Dakars w/ Bilstein B110 and U-bolt Flip.

Really happy with the end result. Still needs an alignment and some time in the dirt to get a real feel for the new suspension. 33's are up next :)

I ran into this a couple years back when a woman turned across my lane and totaled my 2002. It was my understanding that you could pull whatever off before the insurance assessed it, as long as it would roll off the lot. If insurance comes out and assesses it and then you pull aftermarket items, it could be considered insurance fraud.

First two pics are with the grille section wrapped, the second are without. I like the grille done though. Feels like it ties together better than just stopping abruptly at the grille. But for those who are curious I posted both pics.

Wrapped the hood and grille last night. I also attempted the roof but didnt know what I was doing and ended up tearing the vinyl. It was my first time using the stuff. Would definitely say there is a learning curve with it but it's very forgiving material and pretty easy to work with once you get a system down. Highly recommend at least two people if not three or four. And what ever you dont just peel the whole thing and try to place it on the roof like alot of videos (yes that comes from experience :annoyed:) start with a corner tou want to work on first and slowly work back. Patients is KEY to this stuff. A hair dryer gets plenty hot to use for this stuff. No need to gu buy a heat gun. I used the 3M cutting tape to place my cut lines for the hood. Great stuff! Simple apply it to the lines you want to follow leaving 6 inches extra to use to start your cut. Then full back parallel to the surface. Overall turned out great and a cheaper option to taking it to get paint. The whole reason for this was the paint on the roof was getting really back and peeling and fading. Same goes for the hood. Just ordered some more vinyl for the roof and will post once it's all done!
