They need to get on it. I'm sick of this thing dropping to 4th on the highway for any Hill or anytime I need to speed up a couple mph.

Thanks! Got it, as well as the fuel pump TSB done thursday. Drives like it should have when it came out! ECT is great as well. Fuel pump chirp is gone. Apparently they had to get the shop foreman to figure out how to update the ECU. Told them that they should apply this update to every taco that comes in the shop.

Quick post after 400+ mile trip. It’s like a different truck. Soooooo much better. Shifts are smooth as silk. You can drive with just the throttle.

It feels like there’s a lot less engine braking coming down the mountains. That’s fine by me. Previously I found myself on the throttle even on downhill runs. Now it feels like I think it should.

I’m pretty sure I’m getting 1-2 mpg better than before as well.

I drive 70-80 and got 18+ up the mountain and nearly 20 down the mountain. (Vancouver to Kamloops and back).

So far so good with my updated calibration. The truck definitely shifts better and is getting improved mileage too. The only added issue I have noticed is that downshift from 2 to 1 coming to a stop light can be a little rougher than before but only on occasion.

Same here. I'm getting a lot of hard shifts from 2 to 1.

Opposite for me. I was pretty good for 1000 miles after the tsb. 2000 miles after, not so good.

I had some hard downshifts before the tsb too. Usually only happened once or twice s the truck was warming up in the way to work on the morning. Will keep an eye on it this week.

Anyone had luck getting 58 or 62 done in Canada yet? My dealer said it wasn't available as of this past Wednesday (Sept 19). My '18 OR has a fit when going up hills in western Alberta especially in cruise. I'm trying to figure out how to sneak a manual trans onto the driveway without the wife noticing...but I don't fit in any with the sunroof (thanks a lot Toyota Canada - you suck for not giving me the option of no sunroof)

Thanks for that. Must have accidently skipped over that page in my quest to read all 111. You'd think that the dealer would have been able to find it...

    nothing just gas & go
ask forTSB up dates due to hesitation on acceleration @ Royal Toyota Bloomington,In. they said it did not apply that it was for high altitude only, I said some one needs to tell my truck its @ sea level then because it surges &rpm's run up and it hesitates b4 it accelerates & I
almost get run over trying to merge in work traffic. They told me if it keeps up they will open a case with Toyota so I said tell Toyota to be @ my house any morning & ride to work with me & the service MGR just laughed. I didn't purchase my truck there so there not very accommodating beat there $ by 2K. I will try the dealer where I bought it.
