Yeah no emblems on my tuck except the grille but it was debadged when the truck was still new.

Not sure how well plasti dip sprayed on would work for handles, probably too thin. I used the original dip in from the can stuff back before it came in a spray can. And I put on multiple layers. Spray on plasti dip.is great stuff, I just don't like to use it on vehicles.

I replaced my power steering pump a little over a year ago. The replacement was a new aftermarket, not rebuilt. It was pretty noisy when I first put it in, but it worked fine. Not squealing, but that power steering wine. Well it has gotten progressively noisier, so I'm having a hard time trusting it. I still had my original since the aftermarket one was new they didn't need a core. I decided to get a gasket kit and rebuild my original. I got this one https://parts.camelbacktoyota.com/parts/2000/Toyota/Tacoma/SR5/index.cfm?siteid=214329 and it was a piece of cake to instal. I referenced this thread, https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/power-steering-pump-rebuild-how-to-with-photos.377002/ for pointers. That thread was for a 4-cylinder pump, but still helped. Mine was actually easier because it doesn't have a bearing. I swapped my rebuilt one for the crappy aftermarket one today and wow what a difference, nice and quiet. If your pump goes out just rebuild it. Way cheaper, and you can keep it all OEM.

Welp I could’ve sworn I saw a nice Tacoma logo but I can’t find it for the life of me. Here are a few to choose from.. Still unsure whether or not it will go through, takes 3 days for them to review it.

This is coming up on my to do list. Bearing has been whiny for a long time and finally feel like I should probably do something about it. Found that write-up and made it seem less daunting to undertake. I have a 2RZ so i have the bearing to replace but seems fairly straight forward.

a dropped one and a high one
That would be ideal for me, I wanted to order a clutch from them, the shipping is 175 dollars, the clutch is 300. Thats not reasonable at ALL. When I spoke with the gentlemen on the phone at marlin crawler they were not that helpful and said they just don't do it. I ended up ordering from LCE engineering and it was the same as the marlin one.

Fun thing about having an Inclinometer is seeing how severe your rake is!

Man the rear looks really high (not talking about in relation to the front)! Still may have a good amount of rake after you install the coilovers.

Planning to add some weight back there? I've got 33's & still not as high as yours in the rear.

As much as I want to believe that a 1st gen like that is still worth that kind of money, its not. Lets face it, it is still a 15 year old vehicle. New the sticker was less than whats being asked for that. That truck is worth $15-18K max.

I know it is a bit of apples to oranges, but 12 yeas ago I paid $19K (before taxes) for mine with 36K miles on it.

If you can get it out of my driveway, you can keep it.

Good luck finding the keys for the Civic.
