What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

I mean... that's a 3% ROI if true. That's not as good as the stock markets peak performance, but its reasonably safe I think. Everyone needs cars, new or used.

If you're selling lots of cars, you're making lots of money. If you're selling lots of used cars and doing services on them, you're making lots more money.

Quick question. If you have the bird dawg mirror riser with the ram ball, why do you have the giant suction cup right in your field of view with a ram mount?

I’ve also found videos of people using a cord and just wrapping it on the front cross bar. The fairing is up there mostly because I think it looks better than just the naked bars. Plus I was able to convince the wifeit was necessary LOL.

I had the RAM Mount prior, it's not really blocking anything in my field of vision from where I sit, but I'm mainly still using it bc my longer arm for the mirror mount hasn't come in yet.

funny you say that, I tend to get better gas mileage on back roads rather than on the highway for my commute.

 

I do as well, I average 23mpg for my 13 mile commute to work taking back roads, taking the interstate for the same 13 miles I average around 19mpg. Now granted back roads I average 45mph with a lot of coasting and I average 67mph on the interstate.

 

Custom mounted myself a roof track system in my camper and finished working on my molle bed system from Cali raised.

 

Looks like I picked up ~ 2 mpg on a 300 mi round trip this weekend.

 

Super simple install. I just followed their instructions that they sent and it really only took about 30-45mins. Finding my tools took longer, haha. There’s also videos on YouTube that also help should you run into some trouble.

 

Followup: Not nuts. This mod really did make a significant improvement in acceleration. It was like taking the clothespin off her nose. This is for a manual transmission with an aftermarket catback exhaust. The catback system, by itself, just made more noise with no noticeable difference in performance.

Yup...the bed is actually a composite type fiberglass...harder than I thought to drill through...the screws are a sheet metal type only about 1” or so...if they get loose I’ll upgrade to some nuts and bolts.

 

Just got this bad boys in from Accutune. Rear Fox 2.5 with reservoir DSC. Fluid Film coated I have done. Still waiting on the front versions. Install date yet TBD.

 

Eventually I'll get some really cool mods, but until then here is another. Since the Sport doesn't have a traditional tow hook, I picked up this Gator-Jaw Soft Shackle. In the event I get stuck, it's a really slick way to attach a recovery strap.
