    A few mods here and there and counting....
    I'll have to go dig em up, they're in the garage somewhere. They came out really clean similar to what you did. My lenses were shot so i ordered a set of used oem sport headlamps on ebay(broken tabs and burnt turn signal cover) for dirt cheap. The bezels/lenses were in mint condition, so it was just a quick swap over to my already oem housings with the retrofits. Resealed with TRS retrorubber grey butyl. Yes, they are oem, complete with the Toyota stamp with all factory bulbs/boot and just a broken tab on the housing which was discarded anyways.

    not that I know of...I just was tired of fighting with the damn thing to check on the filter.....bought a used box , cut out the window,( jig saw works fine) trimed it, smoothed out the cut marks etc, Lexan window and some form a gasket and bolted er on....there is a small LED strip inside wired to the white button.. but not really needed unless its nite time and a flashlite is just as good...got a little silly with it....

    late note: there is another one similiar to this posted here somewhere, MUCH nicer version..cnc cut cover over the window etc......Mine is more hand tool in the shop version

    Yea, I have another DD, but I live in an apartment, which makes things a little more difficult. I could do it at my mom's house, but I'm out of town a lot, so if I screwed it up, it would most likely take at least another couple of weeks until I'd have the time to work on it again.

    Tire Barn refused to mount my new wheel/Tire combo after I paid $1300 for rubber. So I took them home and did it myself. Yokohama Geolandar 305/70R16.

    What was their reason for refusing to do it?

    I have heard Costco will also refuse to go up or down tire sizes and will only mount the same size tire that on the vehicle when you bring it in.
    If you went into Costo with 305/70R16s then I think they would mount new ones of the same size. But if you went in with say 285/75R16 they would only mount that size.
    They may also only mount factory sizes.

    It's my understanding that places like Costco will only mount a tire within 3% of OE sizing to be driven off on a vehicle. But... I was told by a Costco manager they could mount any size tire wheel combo as long as you hauled them off and they were not mounted and driven off on a vehicle.

    @AStinkyBumb I purchased these cheap ones. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00J5AAX5S/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
    $20 seemed like it was worth the risk of some cheap shit. They actually were fucked up when i got them and the negative terminal was grounded to the case so it kept popping my fuse for the backup lights that i tapped into. I just pulled the casing off and put some extra insulation on the wire that was touching the casing and then they worked fine. While i had the case apart i also added a bunch of silicone to the sealing surface and the gromet where the wire goes through the case and it seems to be very water tight now. Before all of this i even reached out to the company that produced them and they sent me a new set. So now i have a back up. If all of that seems like more than you want to get into, its probably worth spending the money on some better quality lights lol.

    Thanks to @enesshell for hooking me up with an Offroad tow hook. I painted it to give it a little pop. I also wrapped the mirrors and corrected my previous mistake.

    I was super stoked after finding out K02's and KM2's were about $50 cheaper a tire at costco than any other place i looked, until I tried to put them in my cart and they make you sign a disclamer that you are purchasing the same size tire that is in the door sticker. It said they would not install them and they would charge you 15% to restock them. I am sure there is some wiggle room if you find the right manager, but I didn't want to chance it. I am leaning to the Nitto Ridge Grappler now anyway in 255/70/18.

    Looks like a beast!!
