A warranty is nothing more than a service contract between two parties what is covered and what your entitled to is listed in the provisions of that contract. Notify the dealer in writing send it by certified mail...documentation and corroborating evidence ie “the paper trail” is how you will prevail. If what you say are the facts. You’ll be surprised how fast they get off their ass!

    all tore up already
Get rid of your diff drop, do an ecgs bushing on the drivers side to get rid of the weak needle bearing. Have shop check ball joints and control arm bushings while in there. I'd be willing to bet the diff drop is root of your evils and it totally unnecessary for 2" lift

A few OE parts from fancy trucks
No aftermarket part will ever be warrantied by Toyota.

If 'stuff' is added by a dealer, that stuff has a manuf. warranty and *may* have labor warranty provided by the installing dealer.

All the OE and CPO warranty from Toyota provides is warranty on OE parts. Which can be denied if their damage can be shown to be a result of aftermarket parts.

    You need to

    1) read your paperwork

    2) work within the boundries of your paperwork (which I predict will be more restrictive than you think they should be)

    3) realize that what the salesperson says does not matter if it doesn't wind up in writing

    4) actually determine what is wrong with the vehicle. For example, gas doesn't fix suspension problems.

    5) if the problem is with a warranty covered item, then pursue that.

    6) if its with a non warrantied item, the fix is on your nickel.

Best of luck working it all out.

Will diff drop removal effect CVs? I've read a few places it will cause boot tearing without the drop. Just want to make sure I'm going into this knowing all possibilities.

Original dealer took my truck. They're going through the whole truck bumper to bumper and fixing everything. Recalls, all fluids, removal of diff drop, and possible ECGS Bushing if I get it to them, along with a few other issues. So, I can't really complain anymore. Drove 4 hours to get there and they sent me out with a new F150 rental while they keep my truck. Finally, 11 months later. :D

Wow I'm surprised & congrats!!! I bet they will think twice about "certifying" a modified vehicle again!

Haha. I was surprised also. They were actually extremely awesome about the whole thing, and hopefully all is good when I get it back. Wish they'd done this back when issues started, but probably would have helped if I contacted them first instead of 6 other dealerships

Yea well ya never know when they slap that "certified" label on there. Kinda sounds like it's Toyota & not just that dealership. Let us know how that turns out...

Update: Dealership didn't fix the issue a month ago. Took the truck again 2 more times since then. The last trip in, they're suspecting either Tranny, Torque Converter or ECU but can't pin point. They called me Thursday, and offered me to find a truck I wanted and do an even swap. So, chose a new 18, TRD Sport DCSB 6spd Manual, fully loaded with extras that were added cosmetically at a dealership on other side of Connecticut from where they were located. I was skeptical where I was asking so much, but.... They took the offer, even paid my down-payment, got me 3% less on my finance, swapping over a couple items from old truck (led headlights, bed cover) and delivering it either today or Monday.

I can't complain in the slightest. 2017 base Sport with 25k miles for a 2018 Loaded sport with extras, even trade, no money down, lower payments. THIS, is why I love Toyota. Hell of a fight for a while, but the end results are better than could have expected. Props to Colchester Toyota in Connecticut. They've been amazing every step of the way.

What did the dealer fix that didn’t solve the problem?

I told them it was a hitching/surging feeling between 45-60mph. They felt a tiny vibration at 35mph, which was a minor tire balance issue. I instantly felt the surge again when I left, so went back and took the service manager for a ride. He then felt exactly what I was talking about, but they couldn't narrow the issue to what it was. They know it wasn't the lift, but obviously didn't want to replace a Tranny and it end up being ecu or visa-versa.

Guessing they didn't want a Lemon title for it, so probably gonna fix it and resell it. It was in immaculate shape, with a bunch of upgrades. Doubt they'll have troubles selling once it's fixed.

    VS.. ..

2nd photo was right before I did the lower doors/rear fender/grill. Already ordered new wheels /tires, suspension, hid/led all around, blacked out windows and exhaust. Just awaiting everything to come together. Haha

Dude go in the forsale section on here and buy a full off road oem suspension with new control arms, shocks, leafs and rear shocks can be had for under $500. Install this and your truck will be good.
