    Playing with mesh scraps today...


    One of these days I’ll get to plating the open areas of the Hybrid front bumper. When I do I plan on a 30” single row light bar between the grill and bumper behind that mesh area.

    So I got to Matt’s at about 10:15 this morning. He had the forethought to invite some of his relatives over to assist us in the transfer.
    I backed in the driveway so we were tailgate to tailgate.


    Once imposition I prepped the bed while they carefully rotated the unit 180°.



    From there we simply transferred it from one bed to the other. :D


    Popped it open to position the front “struts”


    And I’m now the 3rd owner of this DCSB Flippac! :yay:


    I have lots of specific plans to turn this into an optimized Overland set up with everything I could possibly need to get away for multiple day adventures.

    I already have the essentials for kitchen and refrigerator, bathroom and shower are on the shortlist to figure out.

    I think the only major alteration I will be doing is to the rear entry as I do not want to have to open the swing out tire gate every time I want to enter the back of the Flippac.

    I’d like to remove the rear glass on the tailgate and configure a single swing out door with a smaller entry door mounted in it.

    Now that I have everything mounted I will be able to do a scale drawing to figure out the materials I need.
