There's still plenty of toll booths through Dallas and Chicago (the two areas I know of) that only take cash/change (if you don't have an EZ Pass). Not that this justifies the coin holder, lol - just saying I've more than my share of the little "oops I don't have any cash on me" slips.

I've always wondered how they handle that situation. I get severe anxiety about it when driving in the "CITY", haha. I've spent too much time living in small towns.

I helped develop it, I filed for a patent for the tube that will tie into the AC drain mod. Also looking for testers to try out the garbage disposal mod.

I honestly can’t tell if the Ac drain mod is a joke or not.

We are going to use the airflow from the snorkel on the 19 Pro. It will help aid in the no spot rinse mode.

Wow tough crowd, I honestly was just excited about installing something to my Tacoma. Didn't mean to stir up so much built up negativity, I just read that 3rd gen Tacoma beds have a tendency to flex when offroading a lot or when you add a bed rack or bed top tent. I figured to get the bed stiffeners now since I plan on getting my bed rack soon anyways, plus the extra tie down holes is a plus for when I strap down my cooler.

Don't feel too bad, this is just how we cope with all the money spent on mods that ended up useless or just overpriced. It a good release for the group!

I never reinforced the bed on my old truck and after 25 years it was giving way. And that was a double wall metal bed and built more substantially than the Tacoma.

    IMG_7068_mid.jpg

So when my 2008 bed sides started looking like that at just 9 years old I decided what the hell, can't be any worse than nothing. I got in on the ATH blow out, they did pull the sides of the bed in, so they aren't doing nothing exactly. Maybe not a lot or it'll still fail, I dunno. Time will tell I guess.

OP. I have the Total Caos bed stiffeners. I also having a bedrack and basket which I load a few hundred pounds worth of gear on. Piece of mind is great for the price. And like you said the extra tie down locations are great.

I have an OEM roof rack and the Smittybilt Defender 45454 on my SOS CONCEPTS aluminum bed rack from @EddyRRT's shop. I had the bed rack custom sized in height and I took my time finding the proper basket so that it sits flush with the OEM roof rack when the arms are deployed.

I loaded it up this weekend with a few hundred pounds to go assist Hurricane Florence victims in Wilmington and it worked great!20180929_142528.jpg

I had a 96 T-100 Ext Cab 4x4 for 14 years and had a heavy duty contractors cap with side doors and shelves loaded down when I was doing home remodeling for over 5 years and at about the 10 year mark, the bed was slightly separating but nothing that prevented the tailgate from shutting correctly.

We've received lots of questions about the TOTAL CHAOS Bed Stiffeners

These stiffeners were designed to be a solution to a personal problem the owner of TC was experiencing on his 2013 Tacoma that had a camper shell installed. The factory bed couldn't handle the off-road use with the additional weight and failed. We've come up with a solution that greatly reduces the likelihood of this happening to someone else.

We do have more information in the following threads:
TOTAL CHAOS - 05+ Tacoma Bed Stiffeners
Bed Stiffeners - What do they do? Do I need them?
