    all you 2.7 auto guys.
Do you have 32’s? Can it handle it? Not only when going straight on a flat road but at freeway speeds going uphill?

Did you need to regear? Did you keep it stock?

    My plan-

    2.5-3” leveling kit on a 2018 automatic 2.7L access cab 4x4 with 31’s or 32’s

Let me know. Pics help also

Trying to get an answer from other 2.7 auto guys that went this route. Didn’t get that from the first post so I redefined my question hoping to get some more answers that relate to my situation

Yes it can handle it. I went from 245-75-16 to 265-75-16. Its been almost a year now and ive never had a problem. Looks better with a bigger tire. No need to regear. It does fine driving you barely notice a difference honestly. My tires are P rated though not 10 ply so keep that in mind. Go for light weight tires.

Are those E-load? I was gonna go that size with my Wildpeaks but kept them the stock size instead

No they are not E load. They are p rated. Go with p rated you dont need the 10 ply. It’ll be way too heavy

This is the average gas fuel economy i get with the 265s and 2 inch lift on the 2.7 4 cylinder auto. This is me driving 65-70 on the freeway.

Looks great! Exactly what I’m going for!! Okay so what did you ask for at the shop?

Should I go down and say I want a 2” leveling kit with 265/75/16 P rated tires?

I’m new to this. My last “off-road” rig was a z71 Tahoe with a full off-road 6” suspension lift kit with swampers. I’m new to the small cylinder pickup game

The front of my truck is lifted with the following: I replaced the stock shocks with Bilstien 5100s and I replaced the stock springs with Old Man EMU coils. That will give you a 2-2.5 inch lift in the front. I havent lift the back yet.
Tires and rims: 265-75-16 Falken Wildpeak p rated tires. Rims are SCS wheels with a -25 offset.

The front of the truck sits 1.5 inches higher than the back as of right now. Planning to lift the back later

The correct way to do it is put it to the lowest notch on the shock. The new coil springs are what give you the lift because they are taller. The shock is also taller to match the coils. You are only supposed to use the 5th notch if you are using the stock oem coil springs. Using the stock oem coil springs on the 5th notch will give you a crappy ride compared to using notch #1 and putting the old man emu coil springs.

I’m assuming P rated is like a passenger tire? Probably what’s on my car right now stock?

No its pretty much the same, you’ll notice a bit of power loss but its very very minimal
