Nice install video. If you want to save some coin, then check out https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/10-diy-power-lock-tailgate.424052/
@mesojdm to the rescue yet again. Turn a $100 mod into a really inexpensive mod. I have all the parts for mine, and am planning on doing this on the weekend. I spent about $15 on parts...all you are paying for in this kit is the convenience of the associated parts into a kit and their bracket.

Got a Bakflip mx4 tonneau cover installed today. I've got a few small gaps to fill to help waterproof it but I like it so far.

Be careful if you get hail where you live. Got a light/medium sized hailstorm this spring and it dented mine to shit... couldn't believe how easily it was damaged.

Great cover, you're going to love it. I'm guessing there are 2 small gaps behind the cab at the hinge by the bed rails. Should be enough gasket material left from the install to seal them. Two 2" long pieces fixed that on mine.
Tailgate seal should take care of the rest. I don't even use the supplied drain tubes on mine and water is negligible and mostly from the high pressure undercarriage wash at the laser wash I go to. My first choice was a Diamondback but because of the substantial difference in price the MX4 was my next best choice and I'm not disappointed one bit. Hope you enjoy yours.

Thanks man, I'll watch out for that. Here in Louisiana we only get maybe 1 hail per year and almost never of any significant size. Luckily I park in a carport at home too

Yes there is a seal at the tailgate. The likely leakage spots to me look like the 4 corners

Thanks for the info on your experience with the cover man, I'm sure I'm going to love it. My dad has an older bakflip on his 15 tacoma and he sold me on it. I'm not worried about a small amount of water and I didn't expect this cover to be "water proof".

For the front corners if you want the factory seals you can see them along with the part numbers here:

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads...-cover-leaks-everywhere.498602/#post-15494031

They work and make for a clean install but are pricey and are a pain in the ass to install because the way they fit is not intuitive.

Just installed some black pro style headlights and the Meso’s ultimate turn signals. Trying to decide if I wanna do OEM bezel or pro style grill.
