Just pushed up the false ceiling on the first story. I've got an engine hoist/ beam crane up there! I just have to move a duct and it can run a good 12 feet, from the center of the garage to one side. I'm posting it here because I'm excited and can't really put this in any other thread.

So it's not Friday, not even close (unless we can count backwards...) but I've put off taking pictures of my new shop long enough (mostly because nothing interesting was in it until tonight).

An awesome GE fan, from when liability and child safety were distant thoughts. Yes, those blades are steel. (Came with the house, was hidden in the attic. Works really well.)

Also my plumbed-in compressor (also came with the house), I have take-offs all around the shop. 5hp 220v and at least a 100 gal tank, so effectively unlimited air.

And finally the beam crane I was raving about a few days ago. Now equipped with a new chain hoist ($150), purchased so I could offload the rest of this crap from my Taco tonight.

Can't wait until the distant day I've got an engine lathe and a mill in there too.
