I'm looking into installing some ditch lights on my truck. What would be the best pattern to get? I'll mostly be using them to look out for deer on the sides of roads so I want a pattern that will cover a wide area but reach pretty far too.

Driving/Combo will be your best option for reaching out to the sides of the roads while also providing distance lighting. The Driving/Combo pattern is a combination of our Spot and Wide Cornering which gives you a great blend of near, midfield, and distance lighting.

Our S2 and Squadron Series are very popular ditch lights for these trucks. Please let us know if you have any questions about our products.

I plan on getting the squadron fog lights to replace the XB fog lights that I have, but I was wondering if there is any way to use the fog lights while the high beams were on?
It would be nice to be able to use them at the same time since I upgraded the high beams and use them all the time when off-roading

Correct! But I read that didn’t work on 3rd gen something to do with the fog lights being controlled by the ECU.
I was thinking of wiring the fog lights like an auxiliary light (with a switch and relay) so that I can turn them on whenever I want. Just wanted to know if anyone has done it this way or if there any other way to do it

If you're comfortable with wiring, you could easily add a relay that is triggered by both your fog power and a new dash switch.

That's probably more complicated than it needs to be. But it would work.

We don't have any harnesses for this, but check out the 'Fog Light Anytime Mod' that's been done on second and third gen trucks. Owners have figured out a way to use the factory fog switch no matter the headlight position. A quick google search comes up with a variety of threads on the mod

Try this. It'll give you the option to flip a switch in your cab to allow for the fogs to turn on with the High Beams. You'll still control the fogs through your normal OEM controls.

Again, I'm sure there is an easier way. But this will work.

The fogs are controlled through the ECU. It's not as simple as the 2nd gen mod.

The Laughlin Desert Classic UTV Night Race will kick off a weekend of racing activities and will be held on Thursday night Oct. 11th, 2018 and presented by Baja Designs “The Scientists of Lighting”. This marks the first 100% night race in @bestinthedesert long and storied history of promoting off-road races and it’s only fitting that Baja Designs, one of the most recognized names in off road lighting, presents this historic event.

    Good Afternoon Everyone,

So I've had my truck (2018 TRDORSBDC) for close to a month now and have started modding/upgrading things I didn't like with the stock set up. One thing I replaced was the oem fogs with Baja Design Squadron Sport wide cornering amber fogs. The install was pretty straight forward and I'm really pleased with the light output. I'll be using these only in adverse driving conditions as they are borderline obnoxiously (but awesomely) bright. The questions I have are how did people properly aim these fogs? I assumed based on the Toyota specific kit there would be no gap between the bezel and oem fog light cover but there is. Did other's have a gap? Also, I noticed the edge of the Baja bezel is not behind the oem fog light cover. I guess what I'm asking was how was everyone's fitment? any gaps between the BD bezel and oem fog cover? How did you aim them?

Thanks for your time. This forum is great (and expensive).

    Jerad
