Feeler/Interest gauge for 12-15 blackout interior parts

For those who are still interested in completing this interior swap but missed out on the original deal, I have found that McGeorge Toyota has the best online pricing available (as of the date of this post):

• Steering wheel controls (84250-04040-C0): $101.36
• A/C bezel - with 4WD (55412-04090) or without 4WD (55412-04050): $137.77
• Shifter bezel (58805-AD010): $71.61
• Radio surround - matte black (55421-04050) or gloss black (55421-04020): $63.13
• 4WD switch/control (84724-04030): $49.06

If ordering one of each listed above, the total comes out to just $13.16 more than Jordan's original pricing (not including taxes or shipping as those vary by state). I found shipping from VA to CA was around $4 more than Jordan's cost, which isn't too bad. All in all, it's within $18 of the original pricing. I'll be placing my order tonight.

 

Anyone have an A/C bezel in silver for 12-15 sitting around after the swap? Mine has a pretty solid scratch and would like to swap it out.

Pm @gunny1005 and see what they can do for oem pricing. That's a Toyota dealership that offers competitive pricing to this forum.
If it's cheaper, let us know. I would be interested as well.

 

Dang... this came a little too late. I pulled the trigger a few hours ago. But I can hit him up just to see how the pricing looks so others can benefit from it. I had made up my mind to purchase and I was worried if I hesitated then it would be another 6+ months before I actually did it! But thank you for letting me know about it!

 

If you want to wait a few weeks until I swap mine, I would be happy to sell you the silver I currently have.

The parts team with @gunny1005 ships out super fast every time I confirm my quotes. They use Fedex.

Is there an option for the gauge trim pieces in black? Or paint them? I'd like this mod. Not a fan of silver.

Correct. I may just experiment with some solvent to strip the paint.

 

I don't know if they sell them in black, but you can just pop out the entire pc, pop out the trims and paint them, that's what I did!

And BTW, there's no need to strip the paint. You can just paint over it and it'll hold up fine. Just pick up some interior paint at autozone or a place like that.

 

Thank you sir! I was going to try using jasco paint stripper as the plastic is already black. If it looked bad I'll try some paint too. Tweeter trims as well. But the rest I'd rather just buy. Thanks for these updates.

 

For the tweeter rings you'll have to take the door panel off, and them break them off since they aren't clipped in. But then you can just glue them back in place. That's what I did as well.

 

Is this still a thing? Are these parts still available?
