Get the chargrilled oysters (if you like oysters).
I would eat a whole plate of these, if they were not so expensive. But affordable for an appetizer. ($15 for 6). Unbelievable flavor.

I’ll have to give them a try. I like cooked oysters. Can’t do the raw ones.

 

Any of you guys into hot sauces and watch hot ones? Just ordered the newest version of the last dab. Gonna do all 4 when it comes in.

 

Grilled chicken skewers (cilantro, garlic, jalepeno, soy, rice wine vinegar and sesame oil) red bell and onion. Grilled over hickory. This will make your neighbors want to get to know you!

I understand that Texans have a hard time with people with differing opinions.... or anything else for that matter....

 

We just tend to be righter when it comes to food. The other stuff is total anarchy.

I was told 25% of the worlds population has a built in “thing” that makes cilantro taste like shit. I think it taste like soap to them(?)

I can’t remember the details.

 

I think the figure is actually between 9% and 14%, and it’s a genetic marker that obviously needs to be fixed.

 

I love cilantro.

I’ve had one experience in my life where I had the soap taste.

Was fine for 25 years before that and 9 years after.

I dunno what caused it, but it ain’t me.

 

Sis in law says it tastes like dirt to her. That sucks. I love cilantro!!
