Nah I’m chill outside the Texas threads lol.

Got a stage 2 icon lift on the way.

Keeping an eye out for wheels and tires.

This is probably a stupid question, but at this point I'm second guessing myself... My dad ordered sway a way suspension for his FJ. 2.5 coilovers up front and 2.0 shocks in the back.

The first set of rear shocks I thought something was wrong. The one shock can be easily collapsed by hand and the other takes all my weight(200lbs) to get it to collapse. The shock that is easy to collapse does not extend itself. It will stay collapsed for days. The other rebounds immediately. I thought this was a faulty shock so they sent him another set.

This set does the exact same thing. I took this picture after they'd been sitting on the table for 20 minutes and it stayed in that position. That shock should have rebounded and extended itself, right?

I'm thinking they didn't charge them with nitrogen, but it's kinda crazy it's been the same issue on 2 sets of high end shocks...

Thanks. I needed someone to confirm haha. I can't believe 2 out of 4 shocks have been bad out of the box. That's awful considering this is like an $800 kit...

At least they didn't make him send the other kit back yet so he can take the good shock that came from each kit...

Yeah, luckily we installed the coils already so he couldn't return the kit without them sending a new kit first.

They don't have the nickname stay-a-way for nothing.

Check the pressure in the shock. Call them and ask what the recommended pressure for your dads set up is. Compare the two numbers. It's either low on nitrogen or there's a leak allowing air passed the piston

So this thread dead without @4runningdaily?

Btw, @swalters that was me asking about the tundra bumper. The truck looks great and I’ve always wanted a bruteforce bumper. If I ever can afford one I’m definitely going with a tubeless version.

Just read about a possibility but nothing certain.

Yeah I’ve barely been posting, had #3 a month and 1/2 ago so been crazy busy. Haven’t touched my 4runner in a month, just need to get rid of that thing.

Wassup?! Yeah I would have liked a hoopless but this came with the truck and now that I have it, I love the hoops. We'll be getting a brute force high clearance rear as well.

Nice, wish mine came with a bumper. That’s a clean looking truck!

Ah shit, what happened with that?

But I’ve been busy with job searches and interviews. No time to play with the 4Runner or bs around

Shit sounds like everyone has real lives in addition to the Internet friends. I have been working 12s and my 4runner is 200 miles away.

What did they do to get banned?
