Congrats! I got married in Aug and since we were halfway up a mountain in Colorado we drove back down the hill to our cabin in the Taco.

Removed the OEM side emblems and replaced with some aluminum emblems that I water-jetted this week and had powder coated in flat black. Very easy removal. Used a product called De-Bond that we use at work to remove marine adhesive and used braided fishing line to saw through the emblem adhesive.

Flushed my brake fluid today (change interval is 4 yrs). First time doing it myself instead of going to the dealer. Interestingly, the rear brakes didn't let much fluid out when I cracked open the bleeder and pressed the brake pedal. I had to do it with the key in the "on" position to let the electric booster run, then I was able to expel the fluid normally. Took two 12-oz bottles of Toyota DOT3 to flush the master cylinder and four brakes.

In addition to a minor mileage milestone, I also added a lock to the center console as well as an alien gear holster inside. Still need to touch it up with some paint but I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Installed Bilstein 6112/5160 and Icon 3 leaf add-a-leaf

Set at 3rd perch, rides nice. Much like stock but smoother and of course added height

Can’t wait to test them out on some dirt

It takes more time to open the tool box and get the socket out than to clean the sensor. Heck, I think it takes the computer more time to reset itself than to clean the sensor.

Maybe not so much of getting something done on my truck but teaching my son to weld today and it could save me time when there is a poop load of welding to do :) I smell a rear bumper build in the future. It is cool becase he now can machine stuff and weld....

My dad taught me how to weld when I was 12 or 13 years old. The people I work with are always amazed when I talk about getting the welder out and fixing something!
