1st Gen Lunchtable Thread - General Discussion

Avid makes a low profile bed rack for 1st gens too, I picked mine up used from a member on here. Keeps the tent perfectly level with the cab but you do lose bed space that way.

 

That’ll probably be me haha, I have a camper at home but can’t have it up here, I think a RTT would be a good substitute but we’ll see, it’s only money haha.

I’ll look into the avid bars when/if the time comes.

 

The LROR bars are cheaper and nice and low

Honestly they're both absurd, both seem to heavy for my tastes and anything above the cab is the biggest no no

I was thinking I might see if I can get a local shop to make me one.

I have an Autocad class next semester, hopefully I’ll have some fuck off time I can use to draw pointless shit.

 

I mean the LROR bars are 50 a piece but I can draw you up different bars in like 10mins if you wanted, I'm decent with cad and those are simple

 

I’d rock something like that, maybe a little cleaner but I’d do it, lights would be nice.

 

That’s probably cheaper than a local shop.

Only reason I’d go with the shop is cause it’d be my drawing haha.

I like some light, but I don't want tons of fucking halogen spots like Frank has, too much of a cluster and I'd never use them. I like a well placed spot or tow. The ditch lights I found useless so I ditched em

 

I love my ditch lights haha, way better than holding a flash light out the window at 2 am

 

i need to get some and replace my kc light pods. 4" not big enough for forward light. i can reuse them else where.

 

Any of you people mess around with stocks? How do you go about getting into that little?
