It's gonna be more than $20... connectors alone cost $20. Other TW members have paid in the $100 range for all material needed from Toyota, but mine will be quite a bit less than that.

 

If someone wants to lend me a set of the connectors for a few days, I'll go through my catalogs and see if I can at least come up with manufacturer and part numbers. The housings are probably around $0.26 each. The problem is usually that distributors want to know how many thousand you'd like to order.

The bed decal was done by forum member @CBoy808. The 2 flags I got off of Amazon. It’s tough finding dark grey decals but they had a few:

You’ll be fine just do the bottom first and the rest is easier

Thanks Bud, that's the path I was going to take. Fortunately they're considerably cheaper than bed graphics so if I mess up it's not that big a hit moneywise and Iknow where to get more.

If I ever win the lottery, I'm putting a hydraulic lift in my garage.

The lift is relatively cheap. The real expense is raising the garage roof 10' or so.

Picked up my daughter's car from the tow yard. I was hunting and got a call that my daughter had been in an accident last night. The car is totalled. She is sore but OK. The Subaru did it's job and kept her safe. Thank God the car is the only thing we have to worry about right now. Give your kids a hug.

Glad your daughter is OK. Wife and I were hit head on years ago by a drunk driver with a suspended licence and no insurance. We both landed in the hospital but it could have been much worse. The Outback wagon crinkled everywhere it was supposed to and ultimately saved our lives. Subaru builds a very well engineered and safe car. My wife won't drive anything else! Truth be told if they made a 4 wheel drive truck I'd probably be driving one. Hope all works out well.
