For Sale-- Poweraid Throttle Body Spacer for 05+ 4.0 V6. I bought this to test the claims that the company made (in which I was unsuccessful :() I can't imagine that there's a whole lot of interest for this, but I figured I'd give it a shot in case someone else wanted to try it out. I paid $130 for it back in April, and am asking $50 shipped or $40 for local pickup if within 1 1/2-2 hour drive from Dover, DE. Comes with all necessary mounting equipment.

Hell, worst comes to worst, it makes a sweet paperweight!! :D

company claims more horsepower and a 4 mpg increase because it "swirls the air" and supposedly makes it more dense. as i learned through the course of this project, these things actually did work on older, carbureated engines where the air and fuel are mixed before entering the combustion chamber. but in newer, fuel injected engines, the air and fuel are mixed in the combustion chamber itself so the density of the air doesnt really matter.

(thats my understanding anyway, someone please correct me if i'm wrong:D:D)

Your correct. They would do a little to a Carbureted or trottlebody injected engine, but they do nothing for modern fuel injected engines.
