moving at a good speed you can complete the whole thing in about 6 hours in and out that includes stopping for a lunch at the end. Did that with a group of four and we all moved really fast. I was the least modified out of the group.

    smaller the group the better.

Your truck looks damn good in those colours!

Damn, I really want to hit up Minden with you guys. It looks like the next best thing that's reasonably close to me. Probably can't make the weekends at the moment though, it's when I'm most busy for work and one of my staff is away so it's harder to take off. Looks like I'm going to have a huge list of trails to run come Spring time!

So I have a new appointment with the stealership, for my loose bed. This time with a service manger, as suggested by the service noob I had last time.

Exactly what I told them was going to happen has happened. Its loose again :bananadead:

This time the manager is going to explain to me how they are going to really fix it. Since the old pretend re-torque the bolt is a no fix.

come spring there will be a lot of runs so no worries lol.

I don't know if I'll even be able to make it out again this year other than winter runs if they even happen this year.

I suggest to limit this trip to 6 vehicles, it takes 2.5 hours each way in such group.

I’m out unfortunately. Dads in the hospital and I have to look after two houses and stuff.

Already have plans for that weekend.

Whole trail can be done in 5.5hours in and out if everyone is moving fast and confident offroad.
When I ran it with Glenn (Taco-Can) his son and one of my friends we did it in the 5 hours or so and that included stopping for lunch.
Later when Eugene, Peter, Eric, Josh and I ran it we took the same time and only made it maybe 2/3 of the way in then back out.

There's not much for off shoots after that long curving water crossing, after which you end up in an opening where you can turn around under the hydrolines. Pretty much the last opening where you can turn around before the end of the trail as its all single track after that and pretty tight.

I would agree with Tony and say starting earlier would be best as if anything happens or if you end up running a bit slow remember its completely dark by 5pm, so i'd say aim to be off the trail aired back up before then. Unless you guys would rather air up in the dark.

oh gun season is open the same weekend so I suggest wearing blaze orange or some sort of visibility vest when out of the truck. As well try and be quiet when out and even when driving (as much as possible) to not spook any game in case there are some hunting in the area.

I will be at least 1300kms away from you guys here https://goo.gl/maps/rVDh1ifDv632, can anyone guess what's there? (@Joe23 & @tacoma16 don't give them the answer)

and after that, southwest and then climb north and be back in Canada mid December for winter runs with you all.

I hope things work out with your Pops in the hospital Peter.

Thanks for the link, I know exactly what the problem is from reading that thread a few months ago. The dealership said they had to attempt to fix it before anything else could be done. So we are now on to 'anything else' can be done, since the fix did not work. Just as I told them. Its under warranty so I am not worried. Just my time I am wasting.

Thanks. He should be out in a couple days but he just had open heart surgery so he won’t be able to do some things.

Dealers always waste time. They are pretty brutal.
