Now I could very well be wrong since I haven't researched SUA much at all, but I believe the benefit is you can get more travel without putting the springs into a negative arch. It's more for go fast guys rather than rock crawling.

Quoting you here from another thread. Anymore pictures of your bumper? Looking at those side supports wondering where they go. Searched your posts and Mobtown's website and couldn't find more pics.

Hey man! That's not actually my bumper, just one I pulled from their sites. The current offerings for side support are now just the side ones.

The one in the pic you saw has additional tubework up top which I'm sure could be added if you asked! He doesn't mind adding custom touches.

Thanks Randy. Exactly what I was looking for. :fistbump:
My work computer has a bunch of firewall stuff so I can't see every image on every site for dumb reasons.

    Here's the thread on it

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/tacoma-hammer-hangers-soa-sua-archive-garage.519625/

It moves the rear hanger a little bit to achieve a bit more droop. It also firms up the rear end resulting in a smoother ride!

I'm not a fan of shackle flips for a few reasons, and I don't want chevy 63s either. Too much fab work with those.

Just seems like an expensive way to achieve the same results is all

For me the main thing is the smoother ride. Most people that have installed these report back in amazement how much this helps. The secondary benefit is the added droop once I add shock relocate down the road. And there have been a few people who went from shackle flip to these and preferred these, which also swayed me this way.

Ya just not a fan of the reversed shackle setup, traditional performs way better imo.. unless youre into high speed stuff then Sua with that setup is better. I never run empty so I guess I don't notice the rear ride much even with out the tent on I've got like 300lbs hanging off the ass

Ya'll were much smoother hitting those whoops than that looked it was fun as shit too!!!
You going with the cross bar as well?
That seems really well thought through. The archive relocate is the only one on the market that I know of that can fit a 14" unless you go custom.

I'm going to build my own. I have scrap 1/4" plate and some 1.5" .125 wall tubing so it'll be really easy. All I'll need to buy is a few bolts!

Sweet! That is relatively easy to build.

My wallet is still hurting from the weekend so it'll be a while before any mod money comes around to start collecting parts.

Yep exactly! Should be able to do it in a couple hours, even with my limited tools. I was planning on installing the HH at Joes shop so I can use the torch, and I may see if we can whip up the bar there too. Won't take any time at all with his band saw and plasma cutter. Cutting up 1/4" plate with an angle grinder takes forever lol

That's why I started buying harbor freight discs! They're so cheap and still work great.

After a few failed salvage yard attempts, I finally found where they keep the wrecked 3rd gen 4runners. There was 4 lined up ready for me to pick at. Let's hope this fixes my 4wd issues.
