My cap shifted and wore my paint through to primer in one location in 3 months. I immediately pulled and sold the cap.

I ran rocker chip guard on my tailgate under the lip down to where the rear door hit as it rubbed the paint.

My 93 had areas where it’s cap I had when I bought it wore the paint off. My rails are fine relative to my tonneau but I’ll definitely keep an eye on it to be safe.

Party was a success last night. Weather was great, food was good and plenty of people showed up.

Here are a few pics of the fire. Wife is 5'2, so gives you a size reference in the first photoIMG_1791.jpg

You can see the wire hanging down behind the guy in the pic. We have a pole off to the left that we hook up a paper mache thing to every year to "start" the fire. It usually is something designed based of the year, this year was a phoenix since we are doing the "last one" the hope is we will resurrect the fire in a few years after a short break. Opposite of whatever is starting the fire, we hook fireworks up to a branch or two and shoot them back at the paper mache piece...the idea is that the fire fights back. Yeah..might not make sense, but it's what we do:anonymous:
    IMG_1804.jpg
Had some decent fireworks going off for a little bit
    IMG_1850.jpg
Pushed what was left together this morning and got it going again

I ordered a cheap WiFi outdoor camera for the house. Mounted it under the eaves of the garage looking down the front of the house. It has free cloud access and a few hours of cloud storage, but I put a 64 GB microSD card in it to get some more retention. I'm happy for the price.

The only pants I own are jeans. So I have two states: naked, or dressed for the day.

I actually don't own anything else, either. The unwritten work dress code is "one step above the kids", which isn't difficult to accomplish.

I have a decent set of Carhartt work pants. Some are jeans, some are khakis. The Carhartt khakis are nice enough to pass for ‘business casual’ if I wear them with a button down shirt but are pretty rugged so they don’t shred when I wear them with work boots.

Typically wear jeans with a button down to work overnight unless it’s jeans and a hoodie with the “company” logo when I’m feeling lazy. We see lots of Yoga pants and sweats in my office because people DGAF. Still have the suits/dress clothes from former positions and the off chance I get called into court.

Anybody have a problem with their Tacoma/4Runner holding alignment? Going to have firestone do the 4th attempt on it tomorrow.

Edit: will add bearings, tie rods, and ball joints all seem tight with no slop

Jeans aren't allowed where I work. It's dress pants and a polo shirt every day.

    Some stuff
Work, Carhartt pants, tshirt(long or short sleeve), hoodie, etc as needed....
Not at work... jeans(maybe my carhartts? Depending on what Im doing)... i have some lighter weight "hikers" for when i jump on the mtn bike(no shorts... im high sensitive to poison ivy/oak/etc)....
I have 1 pair of nice slacks, and a matching shirt/tie.

Finishing touches, up stairs for spray foam(thursday), installed 2 new windows, and making other preps.
Gonna end up pulling for a sub-panel to feed the 2 top floors, easier/cheaper.
Just need more 2" conduit, and bend some stuff up......

Ha...I drove to wegmans at 10pm last night because I was getting low on "quick meal meat" in the freezer...So i grabbed a 13lb pork shoulder for $13...It's $0.99/lb there...I had it on the smoker by midnight and off at 1pm to rest in the oven (off) for 3 hours and it was still 150F when I pulled it at 4pm

I wear sweatpants and pajama pants and loose clothing around house.
    Jeans when I go out.
I get work clothes supplies through work. Good thing for that because I’m not that interested in washing clothes with grade or hydro fluid on them in my washer

Any of you guys doing flannel lined pants all winter? I only have two pairs of pants I really wear during the year that are regular pants. Then I have about 3 pairs of some nice flannel lined ones I wear from about 40 degrees downwards depending on what type of work I'm doing that day. I don't wear jeans anymore really, I have a pair because the wife thinks they look nice. But I have to wear a more formal looking pant for working, so I just don't buy jeans anymore. I've found some nice L.L. Bean and Patagonia pants that are very comfortable but look like a work slack.

Moral of the story though, flannel lined pants are great and it feels like I am wearing pj's all day, but look like serious person pants on the outside. It's sorta like the mullet of pants and you all should get some if you don't have them.

I have to do layers for work. No matter the time of year. I can go from from a 100+ room, to a -20 room in minutes.

And when its that cold outside, I tend to find plenty of indoor projects...
