One thing to note: even with CCW, in Florida, you cannot have a weapon holstered on your person while in a vehicle. On your lap, in you cupholder, hanging out the window: all fine. If you maintain a holster it's illegal.

Something does not make sense here with this because I carried for over 20 yrs in Fl and never have heard this before. Carrying a concealed weapon means that the weapon is carried under one's shirt, in one's pocket, or in some other place that a passerby cannot readily see it no matter where you are outside of restricted locations or areas.

With permit = on person/Without permit = securely encased (ex. In holster in center console, in zip bag, in glove box)(See Fla. Stat. 790.001(17) for legal definition)

    Fla. Stat. 790.06(12)(b)

There is something tricky in Florida. When I lived in GA, they made it a point to tell us about it. It may no longer be true, but def was when i lived there 2009-2012

    Good morning all!

Happy Belated Veterans Day to all those military veterans in here. I am honored and humbled to serve beside so many on a daily basis.

On another note who is the guy on here that does tire mount/remounts in addition to other Taco maintenance? I’m looking to swap my tires to my newly acquired FJ wheels thanks to @Comatose. I can’t remember shit for the life of me...damned IPA’s! :anonymous:

I finally got my new rack built and installed! Thanks to @Arcticelf for the good work as usual. Bolted into my bed stiffeners and my front bed bolts. Support pictures will come later.

Anyone interested in a short bed, mid height kb voodoo rack that def needs some love? Will let it go for a steal.newrack.jpg

How much love we talking? I am interested... I am not home until February but I like the KB VooDoo racks. I read about the issues they had previously, but what are we talking? Sanding it down and repainting? Or it's rusted AF.

Haha it was like a ghost town this morning on the way in! I don't mind working any holidays if it means my commute home tonight could be less than an hour.

I know it's been done a million times, but does anybody get like 11-14 city and 12-15 highway? On a stock truck, keeping it under 2k.

That's damn near what I get on my pig. Here's what I'd check to try and get some efficiency back.

Needs to be repainted and i added a few extra holes. Nothing major. Maybe some new hardware. But im also looking to hook someone up. Nothing crazy on the cost.

Opinion time since everyone has one! Going to bed line my floor in lieu of my ruined carpet. Just need to make a decision on color. I'm thinking black, dark grey or tan. Reason for tan is the interior is tan and the carpet was tan, so it'd sorta match. That's what I'm leaning towards most but am open to ideas and suggestions.

Reason I'm doing this is I managed to wedge a rock in between my sliders and frame rail and separated the floor from the rocker panel at the seam. This let a lot of water in and my carpet is past the point of saving IMO.

    Damn son!

Id go with dark grey. But im just not a fan of tan. Black might make it look too dark inside.

Tan, sand, or either gray would be my vote.

Dark Grey is my second option! I agree on the black. Plus it'd show dirt and dust a lot easier, which is another perk of tan that it'll sorta hide it.
