A little something every chance we get.
@boogie3478 , I had to wait until well after the WV/TX game :)annoyed:) Had to relocate, because I did like reading stickers the right way in the mirror, but am too old to LIKE them in the middle of my rear view. So, here are the TX versions on my not modified Little Big Red!

Just into the cowl or into the cab through the cowl? I know Randy was talking about into the glove compartment. I don't mind the look as long as it's truly watertight .

Most svelte is the cowl snorkel - nuthin to see here folks!
I haven't done any deep water crossings but I have hit a flooded patch of road on 301 outside of Hanover VA. Water came up over the hood and windshield so much I couldn't see where I was going. None of that water made it into the filter, the rain channel in the cowl evacuated the water away from the intake fast enough. And believe me, I was holding my breath and waiting for the engine to stop. It never even sputtered. I like my hidden snorkle.....

I've thought about going this route before too. Just wasn't convinced of the water displacement factor enough to do it.

Like I said, I've never done any deep water crossings - so that situation is still an unknown, but that stormy afternoon on 301 convinced me that this is better than the fender inlet from the factory

I don't plan on making my truck a submarine either to necessitate an actual snorkel just want some better protection than the fender.
