Looks like a fun time! I lust after places like that as we have absolutely no where like it on the east coast. Someday I wanna build a baja race trick and my friends always ask what Ill do with it here out east.

Throw them on OfferUp, someone will buy them...I've had great luck with OfferUp.

 

I have a love/hate relationship with that app. Bought a lot of truck stuff off of it.

 

Yeah...I hear you. I've had my share of "I want to buy that, let's meet up". Only to be sitting there waiting for no one....now I tell them, I'll wait 5 minutes past the agreed meet time, then I'm gone.

 

Usually I see stuff I want but cant afford. Or its been sold and the ad was never deleted. Facebook marketplace is worse though. Too many good deals. Had to pass on this one:

 

@Itchyfeet could you swap driver to passenger seat uppers? Wondering if there's enough room to reach the knobs between the doors and seat.

I don't think I've ever seen this style...I like them. But never have the money either when stuff like this comes up. Lol

 

Looking for a definitive answer on where the auto tranny breather is, can/should it be extended? Wheeling in New England seems to mean much deeper water than I saw back in Colorado.

Went wheeling and camping last weekend. Was fun making fresh tracks. Dealt with almost losing my rig to a creek on an off camber shelf road twice. Luckily made it out okay thanks to the winch.

^^ This one wasn't bad, drop on second recovery was 8-10 ft to the creek bed, no videos or photos because I was in focused recovery mode.

 

Oh man, we had to deal with a similar situation last year, but instead of a creek it was a deep nasty canyon.

The dude did it to himself though, we told him like three times not to go passed a certain point, but he was too dumb and his truck spent the night on the mountain because of it.

 

damn, did that tree stop you from sliding into the creek?

 

This is one of those times where Ill admit it looks like fun, but for someone elses rig.

My brother-in-law is coming stay with us for Thanksgiving, he shot my wife a text this morning and wanted to know if i would be interested in his old wheels and tire off of his Tacoma. I think his truck is a 2011 or 2013 model, not sure but at the low, low price of FREE, i might give them a try.

 

sand isn't all that forgiving either trust me, the amount of rattles and clunks I have now on my truck is driving me insane lol.
