Did it show any early signs? I'm still running the factory battery as well and I keep seeing more and more posts about people with 2015 battery's going out.

It was pretty metallic sounding, but it also did seem louder because of my skid plate I think. It's like the suspension would bind and then release with a pop, when it popped it "clunked" (the suspension) and made a bit of a "bang" (skid plate noise). The noise wasn't even really loud, but enough to annoy me. Hard to describe, but I think you get the point lol.

My noise was more related to turning the wheel lock to lock, where yours seems to be caused by the compression of the suspension. Can't hurt to go through and make sure everything is torqued correctly though...but your noise may be more like a strut mount, sway bar end link or something like that

I don't have the thread, I was just cruising the forum and happened to come across it somewhere. But the UCA bolt is 85 ft/lbs and the LCA's are 100 ft/lbs

Here's the guide to all the torque specs

    Wud up all,
Does anyone have good pics of modded access cab tacos? I see 4 door tacos all modded out and badass looking. I’m trying to get some ideas for my 4x4 2011 access cab. Can’t really figure out where to start out. I haven’t seen really good pics of 2nd gen access cabs. Thanks for any advice in advance!!

I was having the same issue. Would put the truck in reverse then crank the wheel to one side (happened to be more often when turned towards passenger side). Then start to reverse and I would get a loud clunk as if the suspension was binding/loading up somewhere then releasing. Would only give one loud clunk then nothing more until I repeated that process.
Just had to tear the front end apart for CV axle swap and diff bushing maintenance. Torqued everything back together and no more clunk. Thank goodness because that sound was driving me crazy. Never did exactly pin-point the cause but it sounds exactly as you are describing.

Same here, cranked up fine Saturday. Dead on Sunday. Luckily it was the weekend and at the house so I wasn't stranded anywhere.

But I had also just taken part in the Northstar battery group buy. Too bad it took a couple weeks for my battery to come in lol.

Didn't care when I agreed to the group buy, but my OE battery must have sensed it was getting upgraded and decided to crap out on me.
