Aftermarket "push three times - auto start" for less than 200 and I can remote unlock, start, and track from anywhere, $450 is steep, son. Winning

New member here and my first post. I have been researching the heck out of remote starts for my 2018 TRD Off Road and have pretty much dialed in on either the N2 Designs or 12voltsolutions. Love not having an extra key fob. So, I need some honest feedback from membres that have installed either one. I am very handy and have no fear of self install, just looking for feedback on pros an cons of both systems. P.S. I have no issue with the engine turning off when I open the door.

the wife's pathfinder has PTS and remote start from the factory. you can open the door and get in without it shutting off.
you just have to hold the brake in and touch the start button before putting it into gear and have the FOB in the car or it will shut off.
for me, this killing the engine when opening the door thing makes it a no go.

I bought the 12volt Solutions 2 weeks back. Super easy plug ‘n’ play install. Just purchase the mobile app module, will install soon.

I have the 12volt solutions 3x remote start. my only complaint is that the range is not very good, only about 30 yards. That works fine when I am at home and start it in the morning, but when I am at work and want to start it from the control room when my truck is in the parking lot I am out of luck. So I ordered a smart phone module for the system which will allow me to start my truck from anywhere. I ordered the phone module from @jayrobot with N2solutions he also sells the same remote start that 12volt solutions sells

Feedback in details from actual members starts on page 6 and on. These reviews can’t be faked with fake name like some websites and companies do on their own sites to boast perception. These are like TW Amazon type reviews. Real accounts, real customers. Feedback is raw and honest. Not one negative review. And why pay so much for it? Same product but I’m not charging more for my company’s name.

    Reviews start here:

Information on the first post of the first page in that thread. Black Friday special ends Sunday midnight PST.

    Thanks for the interest.

You made a note at check out or PMd me right so I can make sure to give you the right harness for the module, and PM me if you haven’t already and vehicle type PTS or HKEY. I’ll give you my cell via PM if I haven’t already so you can text me this info also. Just know range is a function of your OEM fob. This is a common misconception and Temote starters that utilize an OEM are at the mercy of the manufacturers range limitations. An RF kit add-on option can give you anywhere from 0.5 miles on up to 2 mile range. But the phone app is unlimited range. You can be on west coast and unlock it for a family member from the east coast let alone start/stop the engine if you forgot to put a battery tender on before leaving for a period of time. And keep tabs on where they’re driving your car and when hahaha!

Wow, you could get a plug n play and smart module for that or less depending on HKEY or Push to Start from me, and watch the YouTube videos of how easy it is to pop the trim and install in 30 minutes....

I have PM'd you earlier in the month and we have exchanged texts. I put the info about my truck and the 12volt solutions 3x remote start I have in the instructions when I ordered your smart phone module. If you need any more info from me I sent you my cell number in a reply to your confirmation email. I hadn't updated my phone number in paypal so I emailed you the correct number. Many thanks

2 FOBS to carry around now!?!? 3 hours?!?!? You could’ve utilized your OEM FOB and installed it in 30 minutes or less using our YouTube video! And plug n play meaning no wire cutting, tapping or splicing! Which means you could take it off and put it on your next vehicle. Oh man...as long as it gets the job done right?

How much was the hardware and the labor of you don’t mind me asking?

If it’s an HKEY, yes. If you need to manually put the key into the door to unlock, no. Get it while it’s hot. Black Friday sale ends midnight PST. Shipping estimated second week of December.
