Best I can do is to take a few pics of my truck. I know I posted a review somewhere but I have no idea where it is.

I need ya’lls help, and yes I’ve used the search function but still haven’t quite gotten the answer I’m looking for.

I’m looking at getting some new wheels for the Taco, and not really clear on the whole offset thing. The wheels I’m looking at are the Helo HE878 with a 12mm offset. I have not upgraded brakes or replaced anything but pads so all is stock.

    - So what is offset in very layman, dumbed down terms, and would these clear brakes and calibers and everything?

    - Does anyone have these wheels that didn’t like them for some reason?

How long did that take you? Did it come off piece by piece or did they tear? Thanks. Looks good. I have a MGM XSP-X and have been going back and forth since I put the cap on it.

I fabricated a piece of aluminum to cover this area. I have seen one member on here place a oldschool foam filter over this. This is a very stupid design. Mud Injection FTW!

I can snap a couple pics. I made it at school in like 15 minutes. Then I removed the right fender and drilled 4 holes. It does a very good job deflecting debris...

    This and that...
Got that lift installed. 885’s up front and Dakars in the rear. Had to cut the sway bar off but rides great without it.

    Other things I learned:

    - Alignment cam bolts need replacement
    - Top bolt of the rear shock had to be cut too, wasn’t enough at the top to hold onto with the wrench when the nut came up and the rust was holding it back.
    - It takes two to get the steering knuckle bolts back in.
    - The third bolt in the back of the front shock, if rusted is also a pain in the ass.

All in all it was a good experience and stoked to have help from a friend. Happy to report no vibrations yet, but still planning on installing the ECGS bushing at some point. For me, the 885s and Dakars pair up nicely with the 265/70/17’s. Be nice to get a bit or a wider stance though. Wheels next year possibly.
