Yeah, nice. Looks like it pivots on that corner of the square tubing - very cool idea. Thing I don't love about it is the support cable is "in the way" of putting the stove on it - that's what I liked about the prototype I just posted about - it gave me a 30" long workable surface. Now, just need to make the far corner support a bit stronger.

yeah I know. Just a cool concept with the swing. Thats the kind of arm Id do for yours. You could use angle so It be strong and also hug the main swing out arm. The pivot out to support the other half at a 45º angle.

Because lets face it..the wood isn't gonna last haha

5 speed cummings. Looks clean and is a short box. Can't believe what these things fetch for a price tag. asking 14k.

has 208k on it. Supposedly 80k on the motor..

I know. Its not a rebuilt motor its a new one. Apparently the PO swapped it because the original was a 53 block which aren't know for being as strong? :notsure:

Its just crazy how much these trucks go for with a manual. Though the autos aren't that much cheaper. Motor is a tank. Not really looking to buy but eventually will need something, that's my ideal choice but almost impossible to find in good shape.

The folding wally world special table works quite well. Kind of nice though to be able to park in odd spots and have your table though. Like in spots like this :D

I replaced mine a couple of years ago with an aftermarket one. The new one was pretty noisy from the get go. Over the next couple of years it got worse. I ended up rebuilding my old OEM one a couple months ago and putting it back on. It's great. Wasn't hard to rebuild. Just crack it open and replace a few O-rings and one gasket.

I used this thread to help https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/power-steering-pump-rebuild-how-to-with-photos.377002/ His was from a 4-banger and they have a bearing that needs to be replaced. The 6-cylinder pumps don't have a bearing, so they are even easier. I got the gasket kit from Camelback Toyota. I can't find it on their web site, I remember I had a hard time finding it when I got it. The do carry it, on my invoice there is no part number, it just list it as
    OEM Catalog
    GASKET KIT,POWER STE $35.78

Maze is great. Might have to go there this spring again.

Loosely tossing around meeting Devins sister in Salt Lake and going to Natural Bridges and the Slots again.

I've only got 2 major things to do in Maze left. Sort of 3. After that I'll let it sit for awhile likely.

Devin's sister probably won't end up coming, Id be a surprised if she followed through. Would be March though. Was when we went last time as well and was super nice. Who knows with this year though, have to wait and see.

How does that saying go? "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice, ..."

If you've been a reader of previous trip reports, you may recall one of the craziest trips to date - The De-Tour - which occurred almost exactly one year ago (but that just finished writing up and posting). That trip was a great one for many reasons, but it had gone nothing like we'd expected - snowing or raining every day - eventually forcing us to abandon our Tour of Montana and Wyoming for what we hoped were clearer skies, in Utah.

...where it also rained on us.

Even so, it wasn't long before we started talking about "next year." And before long, "next year" was now...

Read all of chapter 1, and get ready for a trip even more awesome than the last!

Obviously, with only my own photos, I'm missing the best ones... lol

...but only sort of. I left places to insert them when they finally show up! Plus, everyone wants to see other people's rigs, not mine. And so I've got plenty of those photos :)
