Paint matched my customcarsgrill the other day with spray from automotive touch up. Came out way better than I had imagined considering the original paint is about 11 years old and I personally do not like painting.

Looks sic! Did you use some sort of adhesion promoter to get the paint to stick to the plastic?

    Thanks yes I did.

    Lightly sanded, scuffed everything.
    Applied adhesion promoter.
    Paint.
    Gloss.

Messed up the gloss the first time around due to humidity I'm assuming as it turned milky. So I wet sanded down the gloss layer then applied another coat of paint and waited for a better low humidity day to re gloss it.

Was a learning process but happy with the outcome and hope it holds up well.

@Jamesboy2233 leveled my truck, now I got 3/4's of an inch higher in the front than the rear.

Installed softopper last night but it was too cold to stretch the canvas. Let it sit in the sun and at lunch went and stretched it and snapped it in place. Looking good so far. Going to Seam seal tonight and then install my new grill (food grill)

Mounted the spare. Not the same size as what I run but it's close enough to a 255/80/17 to get me off the trail.

Cleaned the engine bay (finally) after the super wet & muddy N.E. group run in RI a few weeks ago.

Got a set of tire chains for my weekend trip way up into the unpopulated northwestern Maine woods in a few weeks. Probably wont need them, but damn are they rugged looking! Ended up going with the 5.5mm Square Straight Link from https://www.tirechain.com/Truck-Tire-Chains.HTM I think they'll have plenty of digging power, while still clearing everything on the front end :mudding:

Did the a-pillar RAM mount thanks to this thread. Also ran a USB C charging cable from the 12V power outlet area up through the pillar. Had to go through a few iterations of RAM mount arms to get my big ass LG V30 to fit the way I wanted. Ended up with the 3" single arm as suggested and the Large X-Grip. Looks super clean, still have room around the steering wheel, and hardly lost any field of view out the front windshield.

I did something similar, except I removed a blank from the section where the 12v is and ran it through the dash. I also just pinned the cord between the a pillar molding and the dash instead of drilling a hole.

Is that how you're leaving all the wiring or are you still buttoning it up?
