We looked at four today, decided to throw an offer on one of them. Looking at more later this week. Unfortunately none with land...

Also ordered this guy for the Truck, went from Surviveware's small kit to the large kit because they sent me a handwritten letter and a coupon for 50% off. Couldn't pass it up. The small kit will go in my wife's car. They also sent me a booklet with info on how to treat different wounds and other things. Pretty nice of them.

Sorry about the house, you'll find one. Best to be picky I say. Big investment.

Found one kinda out a ways from the city, not super far drive to work, 7 acres in our budget. Hmmmm. House might be meh though. Worth a look.

I can't say enough about the quality of this company. Surviveware is hands down the best company I've ever done business with. Everytime I reach out the to them they are kind and give me something for supporting them. The products are top notch too.

Nah that's my condor hat with Tacomabeast TRD patch. It was laying on my desk so I figured I'd get some Taco action in the photo too. They are sending me a free combat tourniquet.

Also the large pack is molle on the back, but its a complete velco sheet thats removable and is attached to the strap. So you can mount it, and pull and go in an emergency. It also came with another smaller quick kit.

Not sure if my tires are just crap, at the end of their life, there's not enough weight in the bed, or what but I'm getting really tired of spinning tires uphill from a stop and nearly being rear ended because asshats in KC don't stop. I'll have a three bus length gap turning to inches because the truck just spins and spins. Then the computer kicks in and all the power goes away while I'm still spinning. Doesn't matter, wet or dry pavement. Always on an uphill, the entrance to the apartment complex is almost at the apex of a large hill, so when I leave out I turn right uphill.

How old are your tires? Tread depth still within range?

I had an old set of DynaPro ATMs. The rubber was pretty hard and had fine cracks everywhere, and those would slip all the time.

Pretty sure I have the Dynapros. Or maybe Duratracs. I keep confusing the two.

EDIT: Dynapro ATMs... No idea what tread depth. Were on it when I bought it Nov 2017.

I liked my DynaPros at first. They’re inexpensive, lightweight (good on the MPGs), and looked pretty good. However, as time went on, I started liking them less and less. Not very good off-road, got noisy as they wore down, and I slipped all over the place if there was the slightest bit of moisture on the road.

I switched to the Discoverer AT3 4S’s, and I love them so far. Granted, the comparison is apples to oranges (my DynaPros we’re old, “well-used,” and smaller), but a huge difference nonetheless. Mainly the wet weather performance so far has been the biggest improvement. But as with my DynaPros, only time will tell if I’ll be singing the same song in a year or two.

    Nice grill guard, btw.
