So what would be the max output choice for a stock wiring h4 bulb?

Also is there a matching fog light bulb? (H11?)

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I think you're going to be disappointed with those particular (or just about any LED) replacement bulbs. My son disregarded my advice and installed a pair of those in his Scion xB. Two months later and one is on the blink (literally) already. Needless to say they're coming back out and going back.

The big things you need to know about current LED replacement bulbs are:

    1) They produce significantly more glare for oncoming drivers than your OEM halogens - or just about any DOT legal replacement halogen bulb - when aimed properly.

    2) They don't last nearly as long as they're advertised to.

    3) The light pattern they produce is significantly compromised when compared with stock. You will find hot spots, dark spots and other artifacts that you do not have with OEM bulbs.

    4) Although some folks claim a somewhat increased low beam output, almost everyone reports marginal (at best) high beam performance.

    5) Take the output (usually stated in Lumens) claims and throw them out the window. They're all theoretical outputs and real world performance isn't anywhere close to them.

One more issue with LED's, they tend to allow the headlight lense to ice over in the winter. Halogens generate more heat most times enough to keep the headlights free from ice and snow. LED's run much cooler and icing can become a serious issue......

Yes. As I stated earlier . I learned the herd way. I could have returned them and more likely kept going through it over and over .

I’ll check out Volsa. I would also like brighter amber lights for daytime running in dark overcast conditions. To me, I don’t think they’re bright enough. I like to be seen in those conditions for safety.

LED’s don’t belong in headlights unless it’s OEM equipped or a proper retrofit.

Man when i bought my LED's i had to wrestle with those damn wire clips. I honestly thought i had something wrong with me beacuse it shouldn't have been that hard to get a little clip back into place. Hopefully i never have to mess with it again :bananadead:

LEDs should not be run in halogen reflectors, your headlights cause glare to other drivers which you can very easily see the glare in your avatar picture.

    See this thread: https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/why-leds-should-not-be-run-in-halogen-reflectors.454371/

Haven't had an issue with it. In fact it saved me from 3, yes 3 separate collisions with moose. Only way I wouldn't run LED's was if i had a light bar. Also I haven't been flashed for them in over a year.

Nah they're high end ones with malleable coil like heat sinks. Only issue was the clips lol

Ok just thought I would warn others to seek that route and not the fan.
Once assembled, you have to try and reach behind it to lay clip in place. Rediculous

I just installed these Vosla H4 bulbs. O’Reilly’s was awesome and took back the Sylvanias. $50! The Voslas were less shipped, have a nice even light pattern, and seem a tad brighter. They have much less blue in the filter.

Yeah one per box. To clarify the Sylvanias were $50 for 2, the Voslas were $33 for 2 plus a few bucks shipping.

Don’t know if Vosla makes fogs.

Your 08 takes H10s, H10s are not a thing internationally. Volsa does not make them to my knowledge.

    I tried them here:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/the-ultimate-headlight-upgrade-vs-philips-led-headlights.460313/

Not a thread I like to promote as I should have checked for low beam hot spot to look at distance projection, as the hot spot will be very diluted if at all present shifting the pattern toward the truck and losing the distance projection, but I was too focused on pattern cutoff and output.
