That's why if I ever built a trailer it would just be an enclosed with everything inside being removable so that it can just function as a standard enclosed trailer when I need it to. Then it's just a standard trailer on a beefy axle and tires lol

 

I would love to design and build a trailer from the ground up. It’d be so much easier because I’m not having to design something to fit specifically on a vehicle. Hmmm. I do need a utility trailer...

Its gunna be a long process for sure, me and the wife will prolly do most everything. Might pay you to do some bending with your fancy bender tho .

 

All I need is specs. I can bend all the tubing you want.

 

I plan to have right around 2k into it. Im not going crazy on it. I want it strong and simple

 

Lol im sure ill need more than bending when it comes down to it. Ill def be needing some help with stuff on it lol.

 

No problem. I can bend tubing, bend short amounts of plate and cut damn near anything now.

I would literally be dead if I did that to my wife. She doesn't play when it comes to her sleep.

I'm still not sure how she didn't wake up as soon as it actually got on her... deep sleeper I guess. haha

 

Starting here you can look over my trailer build and for the next few pages after the link and what/why I did for my trailer build. A major thing to consider is if you will haul it in the back-country which I have done and intend to do in the future (you will need the Lock and Roll hitch for that). I have a full blown solar system with deep-charge batteries but considering chucking it and going with a Honda 2200 Whisper generator instead and also replacing fridge with ice chest (everywhere I usually go is pretty cold at night) but still have the option to put it back in. Initial investment in trailer was $500 which is what I bought it for but everything else I have done to it has probably pushed it up to about 5.5K for everything I got in it. Really do like my linear actuators still. Hate sleeping on or near the ground in critter country.
