How come you didn’t install one of these? :p. I will need to install a BT-45 as well. How hard was the install?

From what i remember with my research...a certain audio system (i think some premium crap) is incompatible with most everything else due to different voltage. And one of the HVAC systems if it's integrated into maybe the audio is also hard/expensive to replace with something else.

It’s the stock navigation in the gx. Since it has the HVAC controls built in and the Mark Levinson amp its borderline impossible to replace. There have been some people that have had success with what I posted but it’s not worth the effort and price. Basically everybody who has the NAV unit wishes they had the standard dash without Navi.

A small handful of select mods.
They have a version of the Tesla radio that works with mine but the software is buggy still. Waiting for the kinks to get worked out. And honestly I don't need it now especially that I have the BT-45 installed. Works grear and gives me full functionality of the steering wheel controls.

Also let me keep the phone on the Lexus native BT which gives me more control and phone book access which the BT-45 does not do.

Pretty simple install Charile. Hit me up if you need pointers.

Any suggestions for good hikes or locations to see in death valley?

No 4x4, but it's a rental, so it's high clearance. :bikewhoops:

    Mystery time...
Took the truck to the carwash and.... passenger floor mat is full of water. Looked like it dripped down from the blower motor. Air isn't moving worth a crap, guessing the cabin air filter is soaked.
What happened? Where is it coming from.
Going to start pulling stuff apart but first to guess it right wins a big kiss from @Deathbysnusnu

Maybe critters made a nest and compromised the filter?

Off-road use + airbags... Any input from first hand experience?

Was thinking about putting a set on the tundra to help the rear out when loaded or towing since they are easy bolt on install.

But don't want it to ride like a 2500 nor lose the ability on dirt roads. Zero foks given about rock crawling stuff, just don't want the rear to float or upset the suspension when cruising on uneven dirt roads at speed.

Large gap between windshield and lower seal.... guessing that's where it's getting in?

Enough to make it a lot of fun!
That hole is empty on my truck as well. So I don't think that is your problem.

pour some water on the windshield and see where it goes. Floor's already wet anyway.

Mu guess is through that gapped windshield seal, and down thru the hole you are seeing.
That one section that's clean might be where it poured in.

It's definitely the gap in the windshield seal. What I can't figure out is if Safelite guy broke an attachment on that cowl or if the windshield is just not shaped correctly.
Replacing the missing attachment wouldn't close the gap. The only way to close the gap is to push down vertically on the cowl but I don't think it's supposed to do that. The cowl has little pins that go under the windshield beneath the seal so my guess is that the windshield isn't shaped properly.

I scored a tool that they left under my hood after they replaced my windshield. See if they left anything for you.
