    I ended up selling mine for $600. Could have probably gotten a bit more if I didn’t just want it gone. Was getting not many hits at $1000. Someone wanted to drive from san angelo to get it, so I gave him a deal.

    Anyone running 5100’s on a third gen? Have a buddy that recently got a ‘16 and is wanting to get 2-3” lift more budget friendly and didn’t know if 5100’s and OME 886 route was a decent option for the newer ones

    I didnt go with billies but my OME is very similar. 886's are heavier 650lb springs meant for steel bumpers. 888 and 887 are taller than 886's but 600lb springs. For height he should go with 888's(tallest offering) or 887's(taller than 886's but shorter than 888's). 5100's with 888's would be my pick to get the lift with the least amount or no preload.

    886's arent that bad without a steel bumper. Stiff for sure but that also has its benefits offroad IMO. I put mine on with only skids and the stock bumper. The slimline did help but its probably 50+ lbs lighter than a full bumper.
