I am making and selling kits to do the clutch accumulator delete mod. MAY REQUIRE ADJUSTMENT BENDS TO BE MADE! FITS 2005 - 2019 MT Tacomas

The pre-bent kit will allow you to simplify install with only making minor bend adjustments during the install process. NOT ALL TRUCKS ARE THE SAME!

Please check tightness of adapter on the pre-bent line. During installation, start tightening everything by hand before using a wrench.

The benefits of doing this mod are increased clutch feel and less dead pedal slippage.

    $85.00 shipped to US locations.

    $110.00 shipped outside of US.

PM me your name, email address, year model, and shipping address to order. ALL SALES ARE FINAL. If there is a legitimate issue with your kit, PM me to discuss. These kits are all leak checked and verified trouble free before shipping.

    How to bleed the clutch:

    1. Put a clear tube from bleed valve to empty water bottle (I drilled a hole in the lid and fed the tube into the hole)
    2. remove clamp from rubber line between firewall and reservoir
    3. top off reservoir if not already full
    4. pump clutch pedal 5 times
    5. open bleed valve (10mm flare wrench 1/4 - 1/2 turn)
    6. push clutch pedal to floor
    7. close bleed valve
    8. pull pedal back up (by hand)
    9. top off reservoir (important)
    10. repeat steps 4-9 until no more air is coming out of the bleed tube.

@MOC221_ I'm ordering a kit, mebbe 2. Most of the cost to Canada is the customs fees. If you want one (can't remember if you did a DIY yet or not) but I can bring in 3 for same shipping cost to Canada and distribute it out to NS if you want...

Edit: I've confirmed 2 to Canada...if any other canucks wanna split brokerage fees, I can be central point of import and dispersement across Canada

I don't have a 3rd gen, but came here to say I absolutely *Love* the diagram above. its so simple yet effective! I wish more people would just do stuff like this when trying to explain something.
 Merry Christmas, and hope you sell lots :santa:

    Agreed.

But! 2nd Gens had the accumulator also. Some have enough line to just reform the stock lines and use a coupler.

    Merry Christmas to you also!

    wut?
    :boom:
I seriously just replaced my clutch in the summer, and never even noticed such a thing while I was all up in there. wow. I'll have to keep this in mind if I ever have to do some more work on the clutch or notice the feel getting all wonky

seriously, Thank you. I never knew.

    Ha! You're welcome!

That is where I got some of the ideas for the mod:
    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/what-does-a-clutch-fluid-accumulator-do.180006/

Are you 4cyl or V6? It has been said that the 2.7l 3rd Gens don't have it. Not that I don't trust folks, but no pics have been posted.

BTW, how many miles did you get on your clutch?

    2nd Gen, 4cyl,
396,XXX ish KM's ( approx 245,000 miles ) and to be honest, I could have gotten more out of it. It was one of those situations where I knew it had to be close, AND everything aligned up. Friends willing and able to help, money, time, parts. In my case it would have been foolish to wait until it actually went, leaving me without a vehicle while having to drive a kid to daycare and get to work. I still have the clutch in the shop, I could measure it if you wanted ( I plan to make a clock out of it ) If you want more info, PM me, I don't want to clutter up OP's thread any more then we've already done, Lol!
