    I had an update on my CV shafts, the company is using a design that is almost finished...its a ball in socket CV shaft. This whole time it was in R&D and I will be the first taco to use their new technology...13"+ of travel with no binding :cool:

    The race starts on Saturday at 6 AM for all of the non-trophy truck, non-class 1 buggies (this is the time that mjp2 will be starting). The Trophy Trucks and Class 1's start at 1 PM on Saturday.

    Friday is ONLY Tech Inspection but that's the most interesting part because you can't really see the race anyway.

    The course is a 75 mile loop through hills and valleys. You'll see the vehicles when they pass, but unless you have a helicopter you're gonna have a hard time keeping up.

    On a serious note, I don't remember if it was mentioned and I'm too lazy to look, there is no chase and no prerunning at Primm. You definitely won't be able to off-road there. I think they close the area a week prior (but Mike would better confirm that information).
