Wasn't there a dealer tech who made them - don't remember his forum name - had 'Bama' in it."

    ...too much shit to list.
He lost his vendor status and none of the staff will condone doing business with bama.

He's also the guy who makes the manual hub conversions for the 2nd gens I believe.

    I talked with him today.

Yes it’s hawaii and he is super responsive and I wish I would have went with him from the start.

He said the whole reason he started doing this was because the Jersey Hubs guy kept screwing people over ha ha.

Let's hope history doesn't repeat itself. One of the guys who use to do this has lost his vendor status here(see above) and the other has a line drawn thru his TW username.

When and if the time comes for me to deal with this issue, I think I'm going to source OEM parts from an online seller and have a local machine shop do the pressing. I can handle the tear-down and reinstallation.

Wait, who did you order from?
I was like getting a bit concerning... Every time people tell me who the order for them they seem to be banned by the time I get around to ordering haha

    Welp, I fucked up :crapstorm:
    Order from Jersey Built

Should have doubled checked this one, since I wrote him down for good hub replacements last summer. After a week I emailed him and he said they would ship yesterday and still nothing. Looks like it's time to dispute the paypal.

A little of this and a little of that
That is odd. I ordered a hub from both Jersey and Marion at the same time since I needed one asap. I got the confirmation/tracking info and hub in my hands in a few days from Jersey and have yet to see any updates from Marion (and it has been over a week).

I guess it is a hit or miss.

Just wanted you all to know. I ordered a set of hubs from Jersey Built Hubs. This is my second set on a second truck. First one was totaled by someone who couldn’t multitask between the phone and almost non existent traffic. JBH was very quick to respond even though he works more than 60 hrs a week at another job and told me he’s doing this IN HIS SPARE TIME. He makes a very good product with fair prices and quick shipping. And also seems like a good all around guy. Willing to take time to help me with some questions I had about the build. I would recommend Jersey Built Hubs to anyone with a Tacoma, 4 runner and Lex.

@05Taco4x4 is the guy to buy your bearings from! Yeah he's in Hawaii, but I bought mine a few months ago and was impressed with everything, from the communication and packaging all the way through the way they work. Had them in less than a week. He's military and a stand-up guy.

I think the last thing he wants is a TW member named Roland Soprano to stop by in person and pay him a visit. After you muscle him around, tell him I've been quite satisfied with his product.

I 2nd that. @05Taco4x4 is definitely the guy to get your bearings from. My experience was the same.
