I saw this and then I immediately saw people (and kinda agree) saying this is way too low. Has 37 been used without issue? Honestly just don't want to have a rear axle come off driving down the road....

I have used 37 ft lbs the entire time on my truck. Gotta remember it's 4 holding it instead of 1. No issues that I've heard of from anyone in this group either.

In the process of adding the Viair system
I decided to permanently remove the plastic tray behind the rear seat, install noise damper, and mount the compressor and tank there.

Hopefully this cuts down on road noise too.

Supposed to have the parts for the break out fuse block today so I can wrap this up and go wheeling Saturday

I was in the same debate and ended up with 285 for availability if I ever have an emergency situation (255 isn't widely available). The width of the 285 will also protect your truck more

I left all of the tacoma groups (Alabama Tacomas, etc.) and just unfollowed the notifications on the TacomaWorld group. I get notifications when a friend comments in there which works out fine.

it's all pictures for people who don't want to research.

shooting the shit is fun and all, but that's every post on the group.
"here's my truck let's see yours. PICTURES!" every damn post.
