I don’t think the sr5 has a different seat, the production on 3 types of seats on the same truck seems a bit expensive for Toyota

Like I'm sure many other people have done after seeing this thread, I hit up Craigslist to see what the cheapest second gen was in my area. The cheapest one I could find is $5000, and yours is nicer. Man, you got a hell of a deal!

Good thing that it isn't based on what you think.
Read the book. The SR5 has different seats than base.

Got any proof of it ? I’m 99% sure my buddy’s sr5 has the exact same seats as me lol

Lol got it. I'll make sure I read the entire book. From a lot of pictures and threads I've read, it seems the seats were the same other than a lumbar support depending on the year.

Agreed. The ones I've seen look exactly the same.

There is the lumbar support, yes.
There is also a different fabric (see page 17).

I definitely agree after seeing the brochure, the fabrics are different. My opinion most likely came from the similarities in the actual seat design. It seems like there are 3 fabric style options but the style of the seat itself for the Base and SR5 definitely resemble each other, whereas the sport seats look totally different.

Yeah thats what I meant too, fabric is cheap to swap but 3 different seat designs would cost a fortune for production lol.

The intro paragraph is pretty cool, too bad they were boasting about frame design
