Just an update - new tail/brake LEDs not received yet. They will be delivered later than I thought, but I wasn't promised a date and have no complaints.

I did install the reverse LEDs from deAutoLED and they look great. Additionally, the 5000K HID H11 kit from deAutoLED is a vast improvement over the stock bulbs, but I'm going to see if I like the 6000K color better for a bit whiter light.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I will try to find out a date and update on the 7443. They are not around right now.

deAuto only have 5500k HID kits for the H11 that are rated between 5500k-5700k. If they offer 5k/6k on their site then it is most likely a mistake. Are you comparing their HID next to other color temperatures/Lighting because that could affect the color of the bulb.

The website lists both 5000K and 6000K, for H11 and also most other sizes in addition to some 3000K options.

I was not comparing the 5000K side by side to anything. I put them in the headlight and drove around to feel them out. They’re much whiter than the stock bulbs, but may be slightly “warmer” than I was hoping for, so I want to see the 6000K in action.

Ok. They only sell 5500k H11 HID - it is the cleanest white possible. It also creates the most visibility as your eyes can adjust better to this color temperature vs 6000k+. This is the color most want as many try 5k and it is too yellow or 6k and it is too blue. Sorry for the confusion. I will let them know to update the site as they do not have any other color temperature currently.

How do you guys feel about auxbeam? I'm looking for a good but affordable led kit for hi/lo/fog.

@RobP62 know a lot about AuxBeam.

I think they are a great budget-friendly lighting option.

Dome is actually 29mm, you can squeeze a 30mm but the 31mm actually bends the tabs that hold it in and does not fit correctly. Diode Dynamics sell a LED dome light that actually fits properly and works with no errors.

Edit, this is for a 2018. The other years might be a different size. Not sure since all I own is the 2018.

I am running the Auxbeam Light Bars, not the headlight bulbs. The light bars are fantastic. I highly recommend them to everyone.

As far as the headlight assemblies go I do not have any experience. I did a quick search and found these links for you:

https://www.auxbeam.com/88621846 (definitely sign up for their newsletter so you get all the discounts they offer)

I can also say this. They have excellent customer service and communication. If the LED Headlight kits are anything like their light bars you will not be disappointed!

I recently installed Morimoto 2 stroke 2.0s. My goodness the fan is loud. I resonates throughout my whole truck. I can hear them on the highway. The pitch is somewhat higher than the engine pitch, so it really stands out. There is no WAY I can drive around with that noise. I haven't heard this complaint much at all, so I'm wondering if other folks had the same issue? Is there anything I can do about it besides get over it? I'm happy with the output and beam pattern, but seriously it's joke loud.

Do the Xenondepot Pros have a fan? I see the heat displacement fins, but not sure if it also has a fan and if so, any experience with the noise on those?

The Hikari's I use to run have a fan. I could only hear them, and just barely, when I shut the truck off, got out and walked toward the front. Otherwise I heard nothing.

The main reason I switched to and have been endorsing the Xenon Depot Extreme Pro bulbs is the lack of a fan. They use Heat Sinks made of aluminum that are ported. They do not get hot enough to melt anything they touch including the wiring.

I have heard of some LEDs being very loud but it's rare. Are you sure they are fully seated? You should not be able to wiggle them at all. Just asking because if they are loose that could be the reason. I'm sold on the fanless design. I actually have my light switch set to on and never turn it off. So basically, if my truck is running the headlights and fog lights are on. Unless I switch to high beams then the fogs go off. I do this for a couple reasons. Safety is number one though. It stems from being used to inferior lighting. You just couldn't see if they were on in well lit areas of town or on some highways due to the new street lighting they use. No lie, I can see the light from my low beams on things (that are relatively close) in broad day light, to the point at first I wonder what it is.

@XenonDepot are vendors on here and have a huge following. Steve and Danny are always quick to answer questions and they are just over the border in Canada (eastern standard time) so it's nice to be able to call and speak to someone. A lot of people don't know but they are also end users of the products and some are Tacoma's. So it all adds up to a product I am happy with and is why I promote them.

I'm not sure what bulb I even need, but my 2016 tail light has the "lower half" out. Not the brake. Figured I'd go a head and replace all of the rear lights with LED's while I have them out.
Also have to fix one of my license plate lights(already LED's), as it seems to be full of water.

Well I have to give this to @deAutoLED.com their product is awesome. Decided to order full interior kit after I ordered some dome lights from Hikari.

Hikari interior LED's are ok but its nothing compared to what deAutoLED bring to me the table.

    Here is some pics:

LEFT is deAutoLed and Right is Hikari
