    HC install update:

Got the OEM bumper off, along with the hitch, mud flaps and bed step. Measured and marked the masking tape for the cut on the driver's side, then realized it was time to go buy a new compressor. Zip-tied the license plate on, and drove to Home Depot. BTW, their online pricing is apparently different than in-store, and they are unwilling to price match. I saved $40 by ordering online in front of them, for in-store pickup. Took extra long fire them to release the online order to me (even though I already had it on a cart in frontof them.

    ...and now some imagery:

I need to vent a bit.

my boss had said it was ok for me to attend Officer Corona's funeral today if I had time on the books. Cool. I have plenty. I put the request in and then she calls me in last night and tells me "no". I cant have you out. I asked if she would be out and she said no but she couldn't have me out?? (every Monday I am the only underwriter on duty) so what happens if I was sick and couldn't come in? Is this department handicapped without me? Anyways, she says "maybe you can go on your 30 minute lunch (lol, it would take me about 40 minutes to find parking). I said thanks but no thanks. But, can I come in late and support the caravan of officers as they drive by on the Freeway? she says that is ok. Try to be in by 10:30. I said fine with me, thank you ma'am. Well, the caravan was delayed and didn't leave on time. I met a few people on that overpass that I stood on today, one of them is married to an officer who was in that caravan so she had the details on when they were departing. Once officer Corona passed us, we waited for the rest of the officers to pass. I jumped in my truck and off to work I went. Traffic was very heavy due to all the traffic. I get a text at 10:35 "are you coming?" I replied with yes ma'am, I'll be arriving shortly, traffic is heavy". She says " " I gave you one hour!" Unprofessional on my part but I responded with "then I am late, see you in 2 minutes"

I was livid all day to say the least. no compassion and just right down nasty in my eyes.

while I was standing on that overpass, I met a lady and we conversated about where we work and such. I explained to her why I couldn't go to the funeral and that I had to take unpaid leave to be on that overpass supporting the Officer that was gunned down in front of my job. Well, good people do exist. unbeknownst to me, she showed up at my job and dropped an envelope off with the front desk as I was working. She had written a very nice and kind letter with $600 in it. I feel guilty, that's not the reason I was supporting Officer Corona. But, I am blessed and have some faith in this world we live in.

    Thanks for listening guys.

    God Speed Officer Corona

At the end of the day you did something with significance. You’ll remember it and can tell your grandkids about it.

    Job can suck it.

Actions speak louder than words and your actions are worth far more than you may realize.

Good on you for supporting the family and officers today.

Me either. Especially when it's paying respect to a member of the community who gave so much back.

@Fernando - my take away is two good people met each other today and one went out out of their way to drop off a thoughtful letter to recognize the other for going out of their way to be there today. Types of things good people do.

What do you all think about the extended 5100s (F4-BE5-B110-T5)
in the rear. I would need to account for up travel and would measure it all out. If needed add a correct sized spacer to the u-bolt flip bump stop (wheelers or timbren) so I don't bottom out the shock. I would love to be able to get that kind of droop for this reasonable cost if it there is no downside.

Please advise. Post 74 is running the same lift in the rear that I am.

That’s what I run right now. They’re good, basic, and reliable. They get the job done.

I upgraded the front to Kings and have rear Kong’s waiting to go on so the ride quality matches.
