A little of this and a little of that.
Loaded the trap house. Under the tonneau is 20 boxes of clay targets. The Dakars are awesome!

Same here, I used the same tool about a week ago to put my new coils on. With nearly every crank of the ratchet toward the end, I had Final Destination type scenarios playing in my head. It all worked out though, glad it did for you too!

This is actually how I swapped my 884s to 887s because I'm cheap. But it's honestly kinda an unsafe way of doing it. I get that it can be done and probably won't hurt anything, but even when I was doing it it just felt scetchy, the tool he used is not expensive or anything so if he had the tool already why not use it and be safer.

If you've ever used a spring compressor you know they are sketchy as fuck. I find using the truck much mellower and safer.

I mean compressing and decompressing the springs is always sketchy to me no matter what method. But the way you do it and the way I did it it completely screws up your alignment since you have to drop the LCA. The spring compressor doesn't. IDK man not dissing on the idea, but if you already have the spring compressor why not use it, it will save you an alignment.

The same shit everyone else has.
Agreed. Much rather pull the whole thing out as a unit without touching the lower control arm cams. Disconnect upper and lower ball joints, swaybar end links, 3 top hat nuts. And lower strut bolt. The whole assembly just drops out.

Question to the guys who have bolted in their bushwhacker flares, can I get a hardware list? Been putting this off but I’m about to install my snorkel so while I’m cutting and drilling I might as well mod the flares...

    Pic for attention :D

Hammered the CRAP out of my pinch seams (actually a very easy job) then cleaned and painted the area. SO MUCH ROOM for activities now. Also added a .5” strut top spacer aboveboard my 5100/OME 885 coilover so I can get a little closer to the 3” lift height (heavy skids coming soon).

Doesnt your non chopped cab mount prevent rubbing the pinch weld?

Replaced a smashed passenger side mirror with a new one. One of the easiest things to do. Less than 15 mins and done. Nice to see out of a mirror that's not smashed and held together by duct and electrical tape. lol.
