I totally disagree from my 20years of road racing motorcycles. SS lines are a huge improvement for mushy brake pedal. Rubber lines flex, even my dealer who didn't want to install them was amazed.... and like i said every 2 years you need to replace brake fluid...... even sooner in humid environments

Drilled will crack but slotted is fine if you go with a manufacturer that cryo's their rotors.. like EBC

I'm not dumping on SS lines, but I'm saying I see it often where people get butthurt and disappointed when they can't tell the difference when they swap out SS lines on their new(er) car. It turns out their brake system just wasn't particularly brimming with feedback to begin with. Booster, sliding calipers, etc.

On motorcycles it's a completely different beast- no booster, fixed pistons, often times much longer runs of rubber.

I'll be putting SS lines on my truck but I'm not in any particular rush. Maybe during a fluid replacement.

I mean.. people are free to make whatever they want.. but I'm curious how he got the profile and everything... Must have done a lot of reverse engineering... From what I wonder.

I give you props for being able to try it...I truly believe it is the most dangerous sport simply by the commitment of the culture itself. Like you said, the true winners are the guys who risk it all and hopefully they come out in one piece. That's truly sad for all the folks involved in that crash.

Haha yeah you hear the name and assume they would be $450 a piece or something. I thought that the first time I heard about them a few years ago as well.
