Good deal. I’ll let you know. I’ve been looking at some places but I’m being patient this time.

Had the pine car derby thing. Not too shabby for first timers. Did not win but learned a lot!

    Pro tip.

Dry graphite powder is your friend.

    Extra pro tip.
Drill a teeny hole above each axle and fill the hole with graphite before the event. Since you can't touch your car between races, the axles are now self lubricating throughout the event and when things really get serious, you'll still be fast while everyone else starts slowing down.

I won Wisconsin regionals with that trick. Plain Jane car otherwise. Just a green wedge.

It was legal back in the 90s, idk about now though.

In other news. I witnessed someone get tazed at Sumter Walmart.

I was in the checkout in lawn and garden, small, right next to the exit door.

I see the guy walk past with a buggy full of small electronics and I was like dafuq? Maybe he paid at the other line. A few moments later a dude runs past and runs outside. The lawn and garden is outside but not really outside. Like there's more doors to walk through but it's a big open space.

I come out after paying and the shop lifted was wrestling an officer. "IM NOT RESISTING!!" The whole thing...

Finally dude gets worn out and he's like okokokokok I'm done. So the cop let's one hand go so he can get his cuffs and the dude breaks free and runs. He made it outside into the main traffic Lane and got dropped by the tazer but not fully so he was still resisting. I'm just on the sidewalk observing and unsure if I am even allowed to step in and help. Another patrol car flies up and dude runs out and helps. Two more cars show up. Now there's like 4 officers all wrestling this dude and finally he gives up and they cuff him.

Soooooooo many people just bep boppin through like nothing was happening. Also lots of people just in the way watching.

When I walked out of the main store into the big open covered area is when I was really contemplating stepping in to help. One on one is always iffy So I wanted to help. but I'm not trained nor am I powerful. I am doubtful if I'd even be of assistance.

That shit was crazy. Just like on the Live PD but literally right there in front of me...

One idiot rolls up with a buggy with two 5 and under kids in it and asks me what's going on. Like dude get the hell out of here with those children... I yelled at him that he needs to leave.

There's gotta be a video somewhere. I'll try to keep an eye out but surprisingly I didn't see any phones out.

Copy pasted from texts and I tried telling the story without making a Novel out of it. Shit was nuts!

Had something like this happen back in college, when I was even dumber than I am now...

Since I played Rugby and was in the Army at the time- I was up for the challenge. Helped catch/tackled 3 jack holes that had beat a security guard and a Walmart employee- real bad. They were running out- with employees chasing them!

I would not do it again, but it was fun then!
