Just about the only stock pics I could find.

Regardless, yalls reroutes look great and I don't see why the truck couldn't come like this from the factory. Seems much more logical!

keep looking. an old school proper exhaust shop knocks this out in an hour, two at the very most... one or two hours of labor at standard rates.

$100 to get mine done, felt like that's a reasonable price.

    Ditto this. $350 is ridiculous.

I found my shop in the AZ thread section. Owner said he does this all the time, looked the truck over for 30 seconds, and called me a few hours when it was finished. Piece of cake.

Yeah I'm willing to pay like $125. I found one shop and was going to take it back to do it but the shop closed up.. guessing guy is now jail based on my experience with him and my stereotyping :homer: .

I learned after that post it is a access cab vs double cab difference.

Fantastic. Looks like a clean install and far enough away from the transfer case as to not have to worry about it.

I ended up getting my reroute RE-routed so it is now farther away from the transfer case. Here's what she looks like now.

Are you guys worried about flanges for any future work on the transfer case?

Which exhaust will give me noticeable enough power that I WON'T notice my 130lbs of bolted on sliders. Essentially enough power to not feel the weight of the sliders. I did a test with them off and with them on, change was +2mpg commuting same route with them off, plus truck just felt more nimble.

My C4 Fab sliders are heavier than that and my mileage stayed the same...even after bolting on my RCI skids.

Have a look at these...very nice.

I can't handle the thought of welding crap (aluminized steel) to the entirely decent (low-grade stainless, but still stainless) factory exhaust, but I really want the extra ground clearance.

So, I'm planning on buying the URD Spec-U exhaust which is bolt-on, prefabbed, made of 304 stainless (the good stuff!), re-routes the driver's side pipe behind the transfer case, and I like the sound a lot!

It was about a finger's width from the transfer case. The shop fixed the issue for free, so all's well that ends well.

Here is a pic from the original reroute.
