Weird question but do you know how long your slider posts are from the frame to the slider. Getting ready to cut mine and looking at what others have done. Thanks!

Edit: I know they vary in length due to the frame but curious what your center most one is.

Heard you were wanting to sell your 4runner to me, let me know when you want me to come get it.

I don't know, I'll try to remember to measure tomorrow after work.

You have a long line of buyers to join if I ever decide to sell it.

I see you went to TG 3" front springs from 4". Why did you drop down an inch?

I'm getting ready to order new fronts since I need some more room up there. Trying to decide between the 3 and 4s.

I wanted less height. If I could do it again, I would have got 3" springs originally.

I assume no problems clearing 37s with them since your running 40s now.

My wagoners are flat as flat can be and even though I've cleared a lot of metal from the area by the body mount and beat the shit out of it I'm still scrubbing hard. Looking to get some new springs and bumps to help out.

I didn't have much trouble clearing 37's, I only had to trim the rear of each fender and beat the pinch weld flat.

Move the axle forward. My axle is atleast 3.5" forward from stock.

I'm not sure since the PO did it but my front hangers look to be pretty far forward. And when I look at other trucks, like yours, they seem to be in the same general location. What do you think from this picture?

That looks good, but you can move the axle further forward by redrilling the spring perches and U bolt plates, and/or using RUF or TG springs. But, you can only move it as far forward as your steering box location allows.

Ah that makes sense! I see that TG springs are much shorter center pin to front than to back so that would definitely help me out. Only issue I could see with that is possibly having to extend the front driveline. As always, thanks for all the info and help!

I installed a FROR rear full float kit with the late model 4runner caliper mounts. This setup requires IFS hubs, so now my front and rear hubs match and I ditched the rear wheel spacers. I used 2015 4runner brakes which I thought were identical to 4th gen, but I needed two washers to center the caliper on the rotor .

Wow, sooo pretty. I'm still waiting for my headers to ship so I can post my own pictures... then it will be time to source the fj parts...

Sweet. Use a stock single shifter with the FJ case. Twin sticks are a waste with an ADD switch.

That's the plan Stan! That and I prefer the look of the j-shifter. Plus I highly doubt I would ever use 2lo...

But gotta keep that cart behind the horse and not get ahead of myself.

Haha. Is your exhaust completely stock now? I remember when I put the headers on, with an Aeroturbine muffler, it was ridiculously loud. I had to switch to a larger muffler and a resonator.

Nope got a custom crossover done going in to a magnaflow. I figure I will need to rework the muffler and maybe add a resonator, but honestly the exhaust needs some work anyway. Has a few rattles. But I don't think it is going to matter as it has been over 2 months now with no updates since the second week saying a 3 week lead time.

Cool. I have a vibrant resonator and a large Borla muffler. My URD y pipe sounds horrible and leaks though. There is a guy here making equal length y pipes so I got on his list, and I'm excited for that.
