yeah shields are down. i read somewhere when on high beam the shield moves. it doesnt move at all. so could it be that its a single beam hid and they marked it hi/low by accident?
also i have connectors that dont connect to anything..

Great thread. Is there any instruction on how to install the LEDs in the gauges? Obviously I am going to have to pull some of the dash, but I don't even know where to start. Any help would be great thanks!

just swap the wires around. if the lights in the lower bumper are your blinkers then run the wires from those into the lights beside your headlights.

i'm thinking about installing HIDs in my factory headlights. i'm looking at a 35w single beam kit, what is the chance that they will damage my headlights?

How about installing LED lights for replacing the running light dual filament bulb? I'm looking for a plug n play simple bulb to fit so that when I turn on my DTRL they are brighter than the more dim one on the dual fill.

Yes. the bulb is incandescent, but they used the good ol fashioned bulb condom here. So it can easily be replaced with a colored LED. "

Anybody know what size right off hand?

I "up-graded" to 6000k HID's in my BHLM. I don't like them. The light patern has weard angles and such. Plus I'm having a hard time with one or the other just cutting off. Then when I hit a bump it will turn back on. I'm using the DDM slims

I'll be "re-up-grading" to HID FXR projectors from The Retro Fit Source. I'm not touching them untill then.

I got the FXR kit in the mail. Now I'm just waiting untill I have the funds to have YOSH2000 do the converision for me.

I'll post again with the pro's and con's after the re upgrade.

So is the front turn signal 3157 or 4157. There doesn't seem to be a 4157 bulb.

Never mind, it's the same thing

Sorry for being redundant - I just got around to installing the HID hi/LO kit. Where does the 3-prong plug go on an 08 Tacoma? The box and instructions are long gone.
